Adult metal detector, professional high-precision IP68 waterproof, metal detector with LCD display, 5 modes and 9.4 inch detection panel

Got this detector so that I would have something to do while my Bride was fossil hunting. The detector is easy to setup and use. It has pinpointing, discrimination and headphones, three features that I had to have. It comes with a very useful dual blade digger. I look forward to many years hunting with this detector.

When it comes to metal detectors, I'm at best a beginner but the last one I owned wasn't as good as this one when it came to detecting anything below a few inches in the ground. With this metal detector, I'm able to detect almost a foot's depth in ground. Not to mention, this is fully waterproof and have been able to find things along the shore banks in lakes and small river banks near my home. Surprisingly, this is a lot more accurate than I thought it was going to be. The amount of things that I have found has been big to an antique spoon and few things that were bigger but then as small as what I later found out to be a small piece of gold. What I love about this detector is the accuracy and the fact that it doesn't weigh too much that it feels as though my arm is going to fall off. The sound on this was is clear, especially when it's detecting something and it can get fairly if you don't turn the volume down.

I had a bunk unit which happens sometimes and the company made things right and sent a replacement. Very good customer service and bang for buck.

About this metal detector for my nephew for Christmas was surprised how quickly it got here and how light it was. I could have carried it around all day and not got tired. I set up some things in the yard for him to find and he found them quickly and easily we had a really good time and a lot of fun I can’t wait to see the things what we will find. I would recommend this to anybody else wanting to get started I think for the price it was well worth it yeah my nephew couldn’t have been more happy it was the number one thing on his Christmas list And it was really nice that it came with a case and headphones and a shovel and I’m sure he will enjoy it for a long time to come.

This is my first metal detector, I bought it because i lost my Cobalt wedding band in our backyard and I plan on using this to find it. I have searched quite a bit with this detector so far but still haven't found my ring but I have no doubt that it will pick it up if i do come across it. It seems to be very accurate and has found lots of metal wires and a few pennies. Works very well for the price no complaints. Will update if anything changes.

I’ve wanted to metal detect my whole life. I’m finally living the dream. It’s easy to put together, use, my kids love it too. I got the pinpointer to help hone in on exact location while digging, but the pinpointing function of this actually works pretty well. No regrets!!

I've used this at the beach, the bay, mountains, back yard, and the creek. I like this metal detector.

- It's detected metal objects as far as 18 inches underground for me. It detects even very small objects.

-The bottom coil is easily adjustable with a simple touch of the foot when requiring a different angle for detecting different slopes on the fly.

-It lasts a very long time on just two 9v batteries.

-Detects metal object in the creek when hovering over several inches of water.

-At the beach, I adjusted the sensitivity to 4 or 5 bars to avoid constant mis-hits due to the saturation of the sand and possibly the salinity of the water. I haven't figured out yet if/how I can detect objects with the coil actually submerged in water.

-The pinpointer works great. Just takes a little practice. I highly suggest buying a separate small handheld pinpointer to go along with this metal detector (this will help you save a lot of time and find those smaller objects before giving up.) With this Ricomax, I (1) get the hit, (2) use the pintpointer function, then (3) pinpoint with my small handheld pinpointer.

-It's easy to use. Any beginner can figure it out after reading the directions.

-This metal detector has provided hours and hours of entertainment and excitement.

-I've detected with this in the pouring rain, by just fashioning a plastic bad around the top and pressing the buttons through the plastic bag.

I love this and use it literally every week. A great hobby. I'm glad after looking at lots of reviews that I picked this one. Not a bad price, and I imagine it has the same functionality as some of the higher priced ones.

I'm very pleased with this metal detector. It's affordable, lightweight, and includes handy accessories. Instructions are easy to follow and offer enough information to get a quick start to using the device. While it's taking me a little time to learn all of the operating functionality, it's very easy to handle and maneuver. I'm anxious to try it in the water.

I am new to metal detecting and I ordered this one because of the functions that it has. I used it for the first time this weekend. I found it easy to assemble and easy to use the controls are very easy to use. It picked up a great deal of items including 15 pull tabs, 3- nickels, 5 quarters, 2 dimes, 6 pennies and a very small either silver plated or steel ring. The headset made it even more useable. They are very comfy. The instruction booklet was easy to understand and gave me several options to calibrate the detector. The case is light but holds everything that you need to take with you. The unit itself folds up nicely into the carrying bag.
I mainly bought this to help me find gold along stream beds and such. Since it did so well in the park I can't wait to try it along the river. I would highly recommend this unit for anyone interested in learning how to metal detect.

It's been cold out so we haven't been able to use it too much, but so far no complaints. It looks well made and easy to use. I'm excited to find some treasures!
