BOYA Wireless Lavalier Microphone for iPhone Android 30Hrs Battery Life 164FT Range

I am a fan of Boya products. They always work well for me! I have other Boya wireless Lavalier microphones, and they all function very well. So I decided to go for these. I like the look, I like the variety of attachments (clip or magnet) and I like the sound up. and, of course, I love ability to have two microphones feed into one receiver, or in my case, the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Does a great job, never a problem! Highly recommended! Especially for the price tag. I have other more expensive wireless microphones that I use in more formal occasions but these mics are small and terrific for “run and gun“ situations. A++++

I have used a wired Boya microphone for a while and it sounds great, when I saw this set of wireless mics from Boya I decided to try it. They come in a convenient charging storage case that is lightweight but sturdy enough to provide good protection for the items inside. The microphones are small and light so they don’t tug on your shirt too much. The sound quality is decent but not for the price, I think you can catch a sale on something like the Anker m650 and get better sound at a comparable price. The wind screen is not easy to put on and covered the mute light so if you accidentally mute your mic you don’t know. The set is ok but not great.

Algo muy interesante es que viene con dos receptores, uno para entrada Lightnin y otro para entrada tipo C.

so far i am very happy with this lavalier mic set, the sound quality is great, if you're making a living with this type of item you will probably go a lot higher end but for minor things here and there this set is absolutely perfect. nice and compact and comes with both usb c and lightning bolt receivers also has the fuzzy covers for the mics.

I like the premium recording quality of these BOYA lavalier microphones. It’s nice that the USB-C and lightning receivers are separate units rather than a messy looking two in one. It also means that if one breaks, the other can be used with an adapter, which is a nice bit of peace of mind.

There is a lot to like with this kit. I really like the overall presentation. Even the case has a nice leather-like feel to it. The receivers are really small. I was a little worried when I ordered it because I don't like stuff sticking out of my phone port with the danger of breaking or wearing out the port. But the receivers are so tiny, I don't think this is likely to be a problem.

I also like that you can charge your phone through the side of the receiver. On an interview or a shoot, you can really put some hours on your devices, and it's good that I don't have to take this off to use a portable battery.

The mics connected almost instantly. I used a voice recorder on my Google Pixel 7 Pro and it just recognized the mic as soon as it was plugged in and didn't make me install anything. I tested it with a small demonstration a friend and I were practicing. Later when I reviewed the audio, I felt like it had a really nice range and clarity. We were in a relatively baffled indoor environment, so there was no need to use noise canceling. The tiny dead cats they give you seem like they will do a good job outdoors. I may update this review after I test them. It's kind of funny that one of them is rainbow. Not sure what I will do if someone really doesn't prefer the rainbow one.

What I was most concerned about was the ease of use and the sound quality and in those two categories I feel like they are a solid 5 stars. I ould expect nothing less from Boya.

I love these. Tbe quality is great, they look good and the sound quality is wonderful.

I record a podcast and have been checking out all of the microphones that I can to up my sound quality but also has great noise cancellation and these fit the bill for me.

In the testing I've done with these mics, they deliver very crisp and clear audio with some noise cancellation. I recorded some conversation while traveling recently, and the people wearing the mics were picked up extremely well despite road noise (which was not picked up), and anyone not wearing the mic was not quite eliminated, but almost nonexistent.
This was plug and play, so on an iPhone 15 I just plugged the USB-C adaptor in, went to the camera, and began recording video. The silver button on the front will mute an individual mic, and cause the light to go red when pressed. Simply press again to un-mute.
From the case to the adaptors, the build quality of each item feel premium and not plasticy. If I had to point out any negative, I do wish these had a stereo 3.5mm jack to turn these into more universal mics that could be used with camera inputs, howeverthis was not advertised as a feature so at the price point they seem very well done all around.
