Gorgeous tripod
As I write this I'm away at my summer home where I go to get away from everything, that includes the tools of my trade.
As such I only have a single camera with me to test the tripod with and it just so happens to be one of the lightest around, I will give it a full work out with heavier video gear when I get home but have littkle doubt it will perform perfectly.
As with all K&F products manufacturing has been done to a very high standard, I feel that these easily match or exceed the quality of the market leaders, you know who they are.
Whilst I have a preference for twist locks on tripod legs the levers on these are smooth to operate and don't impede adjustment speed in any way so no pints lost there.
Adjustability is excellent catering for almost any angle one would wish for and the ability to use the central column for overhead shooting and as a monopod is more than welcome.
Is there anything I would fault?
No, for me this is as close to perfection as I would want, it is a little heavy but that is to be expected and is welcome as this adds to the stability.
To be honest I would order this on name and looks alone, K&F gear with the splash of orange has to be the best looking out there, I know this is a personal preference but I love it!

An excellent tripod, well built, solid and smooth.
This is a really excellent, solidly built and lovely looking and feeling tripod. All the moving parts are weighted and move smoothly, the locks all lock in to place tightly and have no problems holding pretty much any weight of DSLR and then some. I actually put my camera on it whilst it was mounted on a gimble and had the microphone attached just to see how it would hold up and it was completely fine. It is a touch heavy, coming in at 2kg, so it's probably more suited to being in a studio or other static place, but it does have a padded carry case with a crossbody strap, so you can carry it out with you and it's really not that much of a big deal. Honestly, out of the box, this is an amazing deal and probably the only thing it lacks is a 360 ball head, but I did look them up and see you can buy a matching ball head for not too much, so that's great. For the price I think this is a fantastic bit of kit and easily up there with any other quality tripod. It's all in the attention to detail and build quality for me and this nails it. I even think it looks good with the anodised orange parts, and whilst that may not be top priority, it's definitely an added benefit. Well recommended.

Good for Travel, But Stability Can Be an Issue When Fully Extended
Ease of Use: Setting up the tripod is quick and straightforward. The leg locks are secure and easy to operate, and the adjustable centre column adds flexibility. However, stability becomes a concern when the tripod is fully extended, especially in windy conditions or with heavier cameras. There is a noticeable wobble, and it can be tricky to get a steady shot without additional stabilization. The tripod supports up to 5 kg, but it performs best with lighter cameras. My mid-range DSLR is fine, but anything heavier might compromise stability.
Conclusion: The K&F Concept 83 inch/211 cm Tripod is a great option for those using lightweight DSLRs or mirrorless cameras, particularly if you need a portable travel solution. It offers good value for the price, but be cautious if you plan to use it at full extension or with heavier equipment. For heavier setups or if stability is a top priority, you might want to consider a more robust tripod.
I'll give it a 4****. Its mabe alitte too exspenceve at £90. But if you're travelling this might be perfect for you.

Folds small, light, extends very tall, mostly metal, transformer of tripods, head is only OK
Folds small, light, extends very tall, mostly metal, transformer of tripods, head is only OK
A very compact small bag, very light to carry, and extends tall are the great strengths of this tripod. There aren't too many with this combination of features in this price range. It's a great combination for a travel tripod.
Oddly I found no instructions so I had to refer back to this page to work out its most unique feature as an overhead tripod. It comes with three hex wrenches with no explanation where it's used but that can be discovered. Unfortunately, there's no small pocket in the tripod bag so you're at risk of losing them. I'm sure they're standard sizes and I much prefer carrying a hex wrench tool with me anyway.
The aluminum is on the thin side so could be damaged under pressure. Also, the snap locks aren't the sturdiest plastic, can probably break under pressure and I'm not sure how they'll hold up over time.
The head is more friction than fluid although seems to have enough damping to pan smoothly. Tilting has a bit of spring to it so it won't flop. There's a level ball which is impossibly small and hard to see. Trust your camera's level guide instead. The pan arm can't be switched to either side like some other tripods so lefties may need to think differently. That you can detach one leg for use as a simple monopod is a nice additional feature as it's an important bit of flexibility when you must travel light.
Its most amazing and transformer-like feature is the ability to pull out a center rod and adjust it with a dial with markings for good precision. This functions much like a boom arm on a C-stand and allows for some unusual positions not easily reproducible with standard tripods. It allows for 90° overhead shooting which may be valuable for anything from product shoots or tabletop demos to overhead ground-based nature shots.
I'd consider this primarily a photographer's tripod with some video capabilities given the head can pan and tilt smoothly but you won't mistake this for a professional fluid head. It's serviceable and nothing more.
Even with the above faults, there are times when packing small and light are mission-critical when you're traveling. Its height is impressive although as a light tripod, you'll want to use the center column hook to add some weight for stability. I usually use my camera bag for that.
Although the flip locks are plastic and the head is basic as far as video use, its extreme height, lightweight, spectacular overhead feature, and otherwise good build make the a great value even if you have other travel tripods.

Beginner tripod
For the price, and if you're just using a small DSLR, this works fine. The fluid head is just ok, but can only work with light loads. The clasps to adjust the legs height are plastic which will fail over time. I wouldn't suggest this for cameras with longer lenses or cinema cameras since the fluid head is not 100% perfectly fluid. And I'd suggest using a manfrotto quick release plate system instead of the area type that come with it for quick ease of use. Monopod option is nice.

Sturdy & versatile tripod
Pleasantly surprised with this tripod. I was amazed at how high it expands, making it very easy to get the perfect height I need for my product photos. It’s very easy to set up and use. The locks firmly hold the legs in place without slipping. I like that it has the extra arm; I can set it where I need it and not have to worry about repositioning my camera every time I change the way I am staging my photos. The tripod is a little on the heavy side, but it is very solid, so I don’t have to worry about my cat knocking it over. Works great and is a reasonable price.

Great Versatile Tripod
Got this to do some top-down shots of products for my YouTube channel, and it works quite well.
I have a large camera rig with a smallrig cage, mount battery, 5 inch screen, and handle, and this tripod handled it no problem. The fastening mechanism for the 90 degree setup is very strong, and even at the furthest length it did not deflect very much. I did need to use a sandbag under the tripod to hold it steady, but the hook worked well for that.
Each of the adjustment options for axis on the tripod is sufficiently strong for holding it in place, and for adjusting it smoothly. The head arm is a little different than I'm used to, but it works well.
The legs have good adjustment and seem to be pretty strong, but are on the thinner side.
The bag size is really not quite right for the tripod, and it makes it really annoying to stow. I don't even know how to put it in there properly since I forgot to look when I took it out. Oh well. It's pretty easy to adjust and use though overall so not a huge deal.

Sturdy stance, lots of adjustment options, easy to collapse and carry in the provided case.
Much sturdier than a flimsy, portable tripod/selfie stick combo. Has many adjustment options including height, tilt, swivel, quick release plate, portable, etc. Easy to attach a camera to the release plate. I have an accessory (purchased separately) that also lets me attach a phone. The tripod design allows for pretty substantial stability… I don’t have a long lens to test with it, but it feels stable. Easy to collapse and store in the nice provided carry case.
Some little nitpicks… the clips that loosen/tighten to lengthen or shorten the legs feel a little cheap (the plastic) – maybe they are better than what they feel… we’ll see how they hold up.
The directions for how to take off the monopod aren’t super clear… basically one of the legs comes off and you can remove and fasten the top of the tripod to the monopod (leg).
The first time I attached a camera, a small piece of the rubber broke off the very easy to use quick release plate – I hope this was just an anomaly.
Overall, I like the tripod, even with some of its shortcomings. I wouldn’t call it a professional grade solution, but for a home hobbyist like me, it does everything I need.

The fanciest and strongest tripod I've ever owned
I worked as a semi professional photographer for 6 years. I've come across a lot of tripods, and this one is the best consumer tripod I've owned. I'm not comparing it to the extra heavy duty ones used in film//tv. But for the average human, this is top of the line. The legs are 1 inch metal tubes contining three extensions. The center post has one extension, which can bend 90 degrees allowing you to shoot over a subject, like a table top. The top has a fluid head smoothing out horizontal and vertical movements. The legs have a click lock that allows them to be set in three different positions. One leg can be detached and used as a monopod. The orange fixtures add a touch of style and make it easy to spot certain clamping screws. It folds back on itself to store in a relatively small bundle. I hope from the video you can see the different features and the overall quality. In the hand, it feels very solid. Metal fixtures, not cheap plastic ones. I'm very impressed with the workmanship.
