Instructions for use

Attention:

• Manual adapter without autofocus or aperture ring.
• Skillful installation, needn't too much force.

'No Lens Attached' - Warning Message Appears:

• If your camera indicates "lens is not properly installed", please modify the camera settings: 'Menu' -> 'Setup' -> 'Release w/o Lens' -> 'Enable' (Exact naming and location may change depending on camera model). If your lens does not have a manual aperture control ring, it will stop down to its smallest f/stop by default.
• Set camera "release shutter without lens" to enable when using the adapter for the first time, or the camera will fail to recognize the lens and the shutter may not be released.

Infinity focus position:

• The position of the infinity mark [∞] of the telephoto lens is shifted slightly to the positive side to enable focus adjustment even when focus shift is caused due to temperature changes. The shift range is denoted by an L-shaped line, Be sure to check the focus through the viewfinder even when you shoot at infinity.

Note:

• L mount cameras are full-frame mirrorless cameras.
• Adapting APS-frame lens to full-frame camera may generate vignetting, which is not the problem of the adapter. Some cameras could correct it by adjusting to APSC.

OM lenses now being put to use

I never imagined so soon after the EOS R being released I would find an adapter. but here it is and it works like a dream, I‘ve been digging out my old Olympus lenses and snapping away like its the red carpet at the Oscars, all using manual focus and using the focus peaking, let me tell you I could not be happier, I'm even considering buying some lenses from the Oxfam shop down the road who refurbishes old Olympus lenses and sells them on. the adapter itself feels well made and I have had no problems with the camera rejecting it. great purchase and I highly recommend.

Out of this box this feels solid. Connects to my camera body without issue and works pretty well from what I can tell. I only have one older lens so I havent done extensive testing on this but what I have works like a charm so this is great. Cant wait to expand my lens collection and put this through its paces. will my Canon lens work with my Sony a5100 with this adapter?

Don’t forget that it’s a manual lens adapter. Works with full manual lenses. If your lens has no physical aperture ring, you cannot control it from your camera

I noticed other adaptors are adjustable with an a Allen wrench. Does this have that as well it is it even necessary

No Allen wrench comes with the unit and I did not need one. Mine did not require any adjustments and fit like a glove.
