Adapting an APS-frame lens to a full-frame camera may generate vignetting, some cameras could correct it by adjusting APSC.
Adapting a full-frame lens to an APS-frame camera provides excellent edge-to-edge sharpness. The smaller image field helps minimize the effects of lens distortion and aberration by using the 'sweet spot' or center of the larger lens image circle. And it will magnify the focal length by 1.6 on Canon, 1.5 on Nikon and Sony, 2.0 on M4/3 camera.

Impeccable, a little expensive.
Nothing to complain about, I use it with a Helios 44-2 on which I mounted a 39 to 42 adapter after making a mistake, nothing to do with the M39 adapter which disappointed me, it is badly made.
This one is very suitable, clean and well finished product, although expensive for what it is (paid more than €50)

Works perfectly for Sony FX3 and Helios 44-3
Helios 44 series can be finicky lenses to adapt based on when they were made. My lens is a Helios MC 44-3 from 1987. Cheap adapters do not function correctly with this lens. I bought this one, and didn't even need to make adjustments at all. Locks tight onto the lens, no play or wiggle, and allows me to adjust focus with no issues. Not sure if it actually adds any contrast with the interior coating, but it doesn't as I love the photos that it renders. You pay for what you get, don't buy cheap.

Good quality M42 to Sony E mount adapter.
I took a chance on this one. I needed an adapter that fit with the Pentax Super Micro Coated Takumar 50mm f1.4. This fits and allows the aperture ring to turn without interference as many of the adapters do. No lens modification needed. Well built. Nice design and bonus, the Sony orange ring at the base.
