I have the M42 to Nikon Z lens adapter. It needs to be adjusted to rotate the lens body to line up with the camera body. The smallest Allen key I have is 1.5mm which is too big. What size key do I need to get please? Many thanks, Dave

Q
Which attachment fits the Leica Q2?
A
That depends on the lens diameter. This is usually stated on the lens. The filter holder is then attached to the lens using the appropriate adapter ring
Q
I was looking to mount a helios 44-2 to my nikon 1 j5, will it work if i get an m42 - nikon 1 adapter? new to photography so any help is appreciated!
A
Good evening, Yes the adaptor wil work very well. You have to set the camera manually to shoot. Please note the camera must first be set to manual with the original lens attached,it's impossible to access the shooting menu without this lens. Exposure will be trial and error but I think you will find the results worthwhile especially I mono, Regards
Q
Which framelines do these adapters bring up on a Leica M body?

Q
I am buying a sony nex-5, how do i know which lenses would fit with the m42 adapter?
A
Any lens that use the M42 size screw in mount. The only other screw mount is M39 and these won’t fit, they would need a different adaptor. They will invariably be vintage lenses and you will only be able to use them in the aperture priority or manual modes, stopping town the iris when metering. Search on EBay for “M42 lens”, that will give you an idea of what you can find.
