While I don'y know specifically about the 13" MacBook Pro, I do know that the rear compartment will take a 13.5" MS SurfaceBook in it's Maroo Leather protective sleeve. I would heartily recommend this laptop/ camera backpack. The only slight niggle is that the internal zips tend to catch on the nylon lining surrounding the zips if your not careful when opening and closing them.
