Q
How does the monopod fit on the camera base? The screw there is too big.
A
As long as the camera base has a standard 1/4 interface screw, the monopod could fit on the camera base.
Q
Can the base plate be fixed to a tripod?
A
Yes, it can be fixed directly to the tripod without removing the base plate.
Q
How does the mechanism work when converting the tripod to the monopod?
A
Works the same as if you were using the tripod. The height is adjusted using the leg extensions and by adjusting the center column. The pivot shoe and rotating ball head work as normal for positioning/manipulating the camera.
Q
How do you get the monopod to fit the camera base? The screw there is too big.
A
You still use the center pole with articulating ball and plate on top. Hole the curved metal piece on the bottom of the center pole and unscrew it, then the middle bar will slide up and out of the tripod and screw into the top of the monopod leg.
Q
Can this be used as a Monopod?
A
Yes.
