Were those Moon pictures we see in the description really shot along with this telescope?

I took some good moon pictures with just my crappy camera on my phone and they turned out pretty good, so yes they probably were and if you've got a nice camera on your phone it is very possible to get great shots.

Can I use it to watch the moon?

This monocular is not a star scope monocular telescope which is usually known as an astronomical telescope (very expensive). However, it is for those who are outdoor enthusiasts meaning love to spend time bird watching, sightseeing, using while hiking, boating, camping, etc.

This monocular have Low Light Night Vision, can be used for night vision with some light but not for completely dark night.

The camera works during the day, but it does not turn on the infrared light at night
A
Only when PIR is triggered at night will the night vision be on, otherwise the machine will always be in sleep state. If the machine is awake and still cannot switch IR, please check whether the day mode is selected in the camera settings-basic functions-day and night mode, and the infrared mode needs to be turned on
