How to open the door when the battery is dead?

The door lock is designed with a USB interface for emergency charging and can also be unlocked with a key.

You will see data from the outside sensor on your console. Look for rain, wind speed, wind direction, UV strength, temperature etc

What is the point of the batteries in the display console?
A
The display console unit can run on batteries only. However, without the a/c power cable, the display only stays on for seven seconds, and to get the display to come on, one has to press a button on the display console. Also, when running on batteries only, the unit will not maintain a wifi connection, so it won't reliably upload weather data to WeatherUnderground or other weather networks.

Is the light source of the microscope still on after unplugging the power? thanks

If the microscope power is unplugged, the light source on this microscope will not work.

Can I connect it to a rechargeable power source while it is in operation?
A
Yes, you can use the camera light while charging, but for longer battery life it is not recommended to use it while charging.
