So my battery was empty too, so just put a new one in :) The extra holder is for a camera because I don't use it I can't answer this answer, but I think that it can be attached to the other things, i.e. where the cell phone is connected you would have to rebuild it if you want to use a normal camera, there is a thread on it

Using the wireless infrared remote control, you can control the functions of the digital microscope by pressing the corresponding buttons, such as adjusting magnification, switching modes, operating shooting, etc. Make sure there is no obstruction between the remote control and the digital microscope, and use it within a reasonable range.

Does this product come with a remote control?

This does not come with a remote control. You need to manually click the buttons to change the brightness and colour.
