This has no electronic contacts, purely for FD Mount lenses from Canon. The Canon 700D is a Canon EF/EF-S lens mount, a different lens mount. Please search for a Vello or Commlite Adapter.

Yes, I used it with my A6000 for a few months now and it's perfect.

Is the 72mm option suitable for the Sony A6000

As Variable ND it is suitable for any lens with filter size 72mm (or with step up and step down rings to other sizes). The filter itself is light, my only suggestion would be to go for 77mm and use step up rings to use the centre of the filter for better quality.

will my Canon lens work with my Sony a5100 with this adapter?

Don’t forget that it’s a manual lens adapter. Works with full manual lenses. If your lens has no physical aperture ring, you cannot control it from your camera
