Q
Can I use this filter to point directly at the sun for an image please?
A
Please dont !!! . ND of 10 stops is nowhere near enough for sun photos. You risk damage to your eyes whilst setting up shot also your camera sensor wont appreciate it.
Q
Is this only for output? Can I charge the panel prior to needing the sun
A
Thank you for your information, yes, the panel only has the function of output, its principle is to collect the sun's ultraviolet rays in the sunlight and convert them into electricity to charge the energy storage power supply, etc. Thank you!
Q
I have been charing this by sun and with a wall outlet. I see a red light, but it won't charge anything. Can someone please help me?
A
It does not have a battery, so it will not charge. It charges batteries of other devices (batteries) or other batteries. For example, you use it to charge a battery pack during the day. When the sun goes down you connect the battery it charged to charge something, like a cell phone, to charge it up. You can also charge a phone (battery) with it while it is in the sunlight.
Q
Can you use original lens hood and sun hood (Sony GM lenses) when the adapter ring is installed?
A
Yes. Absolutely no problem.
Q
how does this filter attach to the lens?
A
It depends on the lens. This filter just screwed into the ring surrounding my Nikkor 18-33mm lens. I also have an Olympus TG-6 and had to buy an adapter ring to use with the filter.
