Q
Does the gimbal come with the tripod quick release trans mount?
A
No. You have to purchase those separately. I purchased another tripod so that I could had access to both handles at all times. Swapping the tripod from the bottom to the top is a pain so much easier to have both attached, and the added weight is negligible. BTW this is the best gimbal I have ever owned. The Ronin S is heavy and way overrated, Zhiyun Weebill S all day.
Q
Can I mount the quick release plate on top of my tripod?
A
Yes, it can be mounted on top of a tripod and will fit 90% of tripods.
