It should, that's not what I bought it for, but yes, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work? It is quite flexible and will go in as deep as the cables length.

Please pay attention to ensure that you are using 2.4GHz WiFi when connecting, and the WiFi area where the device is located has a strong signal to avoid accidental disconnection due to weak signal. I have it on multiple devices, My cell phone {Samsung}, Samsung tablet, & my work PC & my son has it on his Apple phone & iPad. So yes it can be seen on many devices. We love our station it was so easy to set up & hook up to our network. Looking to put one at our vacation home also. 

No, just open the deer camera's built-in WiFi via the controller and connect your mobile phone to it. then you can set the parameters of the game camera and download the recorded images & videos to your phone. 

No it has nothing to do with home wifi. It just links to your phone. I would call it more like Bluetooth rather than wifi
