Good product!
Gimball in excellent workmanship and good feeling of robustness. Also very important is the lightness of the object and the size, which allows you to take it with you on any occasion. Customer service was also excellent, despite different time zone and language it was always easy to ask questions and communicate with them, clarify and find a solution.

The perfect gimbal for APS-C
This review is from someone who mainly shoots with a Sony a6400 and a6600. I've used Zhiyun Crane M2 and Weebill S for the past two years but bought the Crane M3 at launch as soon as I heard the specs. One of my main issues with the last gen Crane M2 was that the max load was my Sony a6400 and 10-18 lens. Now the Crane M3 handles this setup with ease (pictured). I was even able to balance the Crane M3 with a Sony a6600 + Smallrig cage and the Sigma 16mm. I see this gimbal has no problem with a full screen setup. The biggest selling point of this gimbal is of course the size. I find myself reaching for it over the Weebill S just because it's so easy, throwing it in a backpack and carrying it around vlogging for a whole day. It's also a perfect size if you want to throw the gimbal on a monopod and get more interesting angles. I had to tweak the motor settings a bit to my liking, but that's pretty easy once you're used to the ZY Play app. And while I don't use the built-in light all that often, I appreciate that it's built into the design. Speaking of design, the white is a great touch, and the gimbal itself feels strong and well built. Oh, this gimbal finally has a portrait mode too. Perfect for anyone doing Reels or Tiktok these days. I've shot non-stop with this gimbal and I honestly have no complaints. All in all, that this gimbal is perfect if you have a setup like mine and a HUGE step up over the Crane M2. Good job Zhiyun.

Perfect for travel
What I like the most is the size (very small) and light weight, it's amazing how convenient it is to move my Xt4! I previously had the Dji RSC2 and while this is still a fairly "light" gimbal, it seemed heavy and huge next to the M3!
To say that the M3 is wonderful, pleasant to grip and very well stabilized, it is also very easy to travel with.
The aesthetics of the M3 are beautiful ;)
The recording light is stronger than I expected!
The M3 has small downsides and that is that I had to remove the grip rig that was mounted on the XT4 because it doesn't reduce the distance between the Xt4's scope and the motor (by putting it in vortex mode) .
In the case of balance problems, it must be taken into account that only small lenses can be mounted, which doesn't bother me, since the video lenses I use on the photos are mostly small, you can see that with the 18-55 F2.8 /4 and with the Samyang Af 12 and it works great.
Mention that this seller's treatment was great!
They sent me a special quick release plate (photo 3 and photo 4) for the Fuji Xt 4 at no additional cost, which allows changing the battery in a very comfortable way without dismantling the plate, perfectly releasing the ride in vortex mode with the lens that I have mounted on it.
I give the M3 10 out of 10 points!
Because the most important thing for me is the lightness and size of the gimbal, in addition to the fact that it stabilizes my Fuji Xt 4 camera quite well, of course.
Considering all the "pros and cons" I would buy it again without a doubt, I especially recommend it to "travellers" or those who don't like to travel with a huge and heavy gimbal like mine.

FAQs

So in view of the weight of the lens alone of 427 grams, together with the body we are already in a kind of limit area for the gimbal. The M3 is very strong, you can set the engine power to maximum, but don't expect miracles. I mean the M3 website also has a list of compatible lenses so you can get an idea of what the designers are giving the go-ahead for. I keep reading that people with lenses > 400 grams have been able to successfully stabilize the camera. But you shouldn't expect miracles from the different gimbal modes

Balancing works perfectly, only the additional functions (record button, exposure wheel) work without an additional Bluetooth module, which is only available from Sony at the moment.

Should definitely be balanced in terms of weight if the lenses are not too big. A Sony A7III is also possible. However, the additional buttons (recording, exposure) currently only work with Sony. But all other gimbal functions work.

I don't think much more stabilization is needed, but of course you can activate both.
