I am extremely pleased with my purchase of this Compound Trinocular Microscope. The set includes everything that you need to get started and so much more! My kids and I are beginners at using a microscope, so we are still experimenting with its many uses.
The microscope is laboratory grade, which is obvious in how heavy and durable it is. The carrying case has compartments for the numerous accessories. Each item is tightly secured with foam padding. This set is an excellent price for the quality. I cannot wait to use it for upcoming science lessons.

This is a great microscope. It takes some getting used to, but it works great. Im not sure about the 'laboratory grade' as the one at my work costs about the same as a new car, but it surely is plenty good for a school or hobbyist. It comes with everything you need to view anything from a bug to a blood sample. It really is quite versatile. The adjustments and settings are all solid, each clicks in place properly and rotates smoothly. The eye pieces are easily swapped and clearly labeled to avoid confusion. I can recommend this to anyone looking for a quality microscope at a fantastic price.

Our grands kids caught the science bug, so of course the cool grandpa picked this up to fuel their curiosity. It might be a little over the top for elementary school aged kids, but hey, that's what grandparents do. lol

This microscope comes with all the accessories they will need to get started, including multiple lenses, a built in light, blank slides, sample slides, and even a cell phone mount.

This is an excellent transmission light microscope that would be useful for individual use through most undergraduate science courses. It offers better quality than the microscopes typically found in public high schools. However, most graduate-level science labs have microscopes that are superior, allowing for better discrimination at higher magnifications. The two lower power lenses on this microscope are equivalent to low-powered lenses found in most other microscopes. The distinction in quality between this microscope and research lab microscopes becomes most apparent when using the oil immersion lens.

This microscope would be extremely beneficial for a homeschooling family or for a home science lab used for citizen science or hobby interests. It would also be adequate for a physician's office where minimal microscope work, such as urinalysis and simple blood counts, is being conducted. However, for more serious medical work, such as pathology, this microscope would be inadequate.

The product description and photos are accurate without any issues. I have a more advanced microscope for my home lab, but I would certainly consider purchasing this one again because, at its price, I would feel comfortable allowing my grandchildren to use it. As mentioned, this microscope is more than acceptable for homeschooling and individual use in undergraduate-level science courses.

This is a really great starter/home microscope. It does not measure up to lab quality microscopes, which you should not expect at this price anyway. It is very clear and at the price has great features that set it apart from others.

It includes four objective lenses and three eyepiece sets which are great as is, but which can be replaced later with much better quality ones if you wish.

There are some sample slides to look at when you first get it before you start to explore. Has 2 light sources and it can be used with batteries (AA) or by plugging in to AC power.

Lots of lenses and adjustments, as you would expect on a high quality piece of gear like this. The phone camera attachment is great for taking pictures to share.

First off, this came packaged beautifully. It came in a nice carry case. The inside of the case is lined with foam for all the pieces to be carefully placed. Each piece is quality made. Does not feel cheap whatsoever. I am not a science person, and know nothing about microscopes. I ordered for my daughter, so is huge in science (currently getting her PhD in microbiology) - she said this microscope is fantastic! She is so impressed with this. Immediately fired it up and started looking at slides. She said the quality of this is amazing.

This microscope is a fantastic tool for serious hobbyists or lab use. The 40X-5000X magnification is impressive, and I appreciate the dual mechanical stage for precise adjustments. The USB camera was a nice surprise, making it easy to capture images directly onto a computer, which has really upped the convenience factor. It’s sturdy, and the trinocular setup lets me view through the eyepiece while capturing images. Definitely a quality microscope for the price!
