Don`t unscrew the mounting plate without holding onto the center, as the mono pod will fall inside
Its absolutely fantastic, the center just pops out, but don't do as I had done and unscrew the mounting plate off as the center pod drops down the shaft and is a bit fiddly to get back out.Just slacken the center dial and pull the pod out and it makes a popping sound and there you have it.
