Easy to set up, great for kids and adults alike
This was bought for our 9 year old son as a birthday present by his grandma, along with 2 books about stargazing for children and also '50 things to see with a telescope'. It was really easy to set up, with a little help from his father.Great for general star/planet grazing, fun wildlife watching from home and as we live in the lake district, zooming in and watching walkers on the peaks!! Haven't used the mobile phone viewing attachment as yet, but having the option will be great when he has friends over, or when looking at things as a family, and the backpack that comes with this makes it really easy to transport, so we have taken it to friends/family's houses and are going to take wild camping with us for unobstructed views.Ours was bought for full price, and as a gift, but would have spent £130 on it ourselves as a great starter telescope, although even as a more intermediate one I think it would be fab. Looked at the moon last night and great definition. For the sale price of £89 or with the amazon vouchers that are sometimes applied, grab it whilst you can, even if it's to save for christmas!!!
