Fantastic quality
ND filters are essential for some types of photography, such as moving water effects - and which I suspect I exaggerate a bit .... And of course there are millions to buy and a wide range of costs. I have tried lots from super cheap kinesium resin to some decent quality and now this. First and foremost, it's optical glass. And it makes a difference because the type of resin, although not bad if you treat it with the utmost care, tends to scratch easily, and of course the optical quality no matter what the text says is nowhere near as good as decent glass. Secondly, it is very well made. I mean up there with the stupid prices well made that I have tried and used in a well known camera store. This is a real 100% first class set considering the production standard and the general feel of it. Smooth in action with perfect optical clarity across the density range. In use it is super easy. Fit - which is smooth given the well-made thread and then rotates the outer ring to the desired level of darkness. It saves a lot of nonsense with different filters or stacking them. Honestly, if you want a good selection of ND filters (not graduated of course), then this is a good choice. I used it on my Zeis Batis lens and it worked a treat.
