These are excellent filters and this comes from a filter fanatic. I've been waiting for K&F to release Mini 3 Pro filters. I have their Mavic 3 VND and Black Mist 1/4 set and was very impressed with the quality. There's only solid quality you can tell from the construction and the glass is some of the best. I see this as a step forward from Freewell trying to own the filter market and Polar Pro wanting to be kind of a high-end luxury product with the metal bodies and gold/brass frames. These come in a no-frills but functional plastic case with a foam caddy for the filters. I would like K&F to provide a smaller, more suitable housing for filters that are equal to or better than Polar Pro's filters. Supplying new drone filters does not mean inexperience in making quality glass. K&F manufactures hundreds of top-of-the-line multi-coated camera filters, as well as telescopes, binoculars and other photographic equipment. You are no stranger to making a quality filter and this is no exception. Contrary to another review, I only had a soft seat on the UV filter; All ND/PL filters fit snugly and consistently and I am very happy with these. The frames are made of "aerospace aluminum" - and are much lighter than my Polar Pro FX filters. They have a 28-layer optical coating, AGC glass - rated for reduced reflection/refraction. What does this really mean for us drone pilots? Aerial and video filmmaker? For me, it's the ability to shoot in difficult conditions. When I'm out there, the golden hour is in full swing, the sun is low, flares off my lens are beautiful opportunities. Whenever I try new filters, I want to go home with winning videos and photos. A great set of filters help make the most of great conditions. But that high midday sun, so bright it leaches the color from the landscape, bleached from your subjects. Therefore, high-quality filters are mandatory. That 180 degree motion blur rule we've all been taught, but for controlling glare, those overwhelming reflections from water, buildings, vehicles and yes, even leaves on the trees, PL filters put you back in control. That's Polar Pro image quality at Freewell prices. Im impressed with K&F products and am planning to buy the basic ND set, similar in ND levels to Freewell Bright Day but with the superior quality of the K&F concept! On a scale of 1 to 10, these are a Major GO! Now go. Get them! You will be very glad you did.
