After 9 months, still love it
I’ve taken this tripod with me to Wales, Iceland and Madeira for shooting trips. It’s light enough for carrying on those long hikes up mountains and can easily go into my luggage at the airport.
It’s very stable, with lots of flexibility options when shooting. Even in Iceland when the wind was blowing me over, if I weighed this down with my camera bag I was still able to take some great long exposure shots of the Aurora lights.
Although this isn’t the lightest you can buy, without paying £300+ for carbon fibre I think this is amazing value for money and is light enough for most photographers. The ball head is great and if you want to make this set up perfect get yourself an L shaped mount and this is ideal. (I prefer this to the mount provided for the tripod)
