I live in a rural area, so I was unable to use this camera due to the 4G requirements. I gave the camera to my parents, who live in a city and meet the 4G requirements. Be careful and make sure you check before you order, especially if you live rural.This camera comes with everything you need to get started, including a memory card (nice inclusion). The app works well for my parents, using iPhones. The camera was easy for them to install over their back door, and the picture quality is sufficient for identifying the faces of those who walk past it. The resolution is high enough that it uses a lot of memory so you may choose to purchase a larger memory card to use with it longterm.Be aware that this camera comes with a SIM card and while the first 30 days are free, you'll need to purchase and pay for a plan after this to continue using the camera. The cost of the camera isn't just what you pay for the camera, there are additional monthly plan charges to use this camera. It will keep costing to keep using it.This camera does not require wifi - this is an all-new concept to me. But it means that the camera can be mounted anywhere, as it isn't dependent on wifi signal.This is a good camera for folks that live in the city, but it isn't necessarily compatible with rural homes. The app works well and was easy to install, image quality is good, and this camera does a good job "keeping an eye" on my parents' backyard.
