Massive 160gr filter!
The filter is huge.
7.4 mm thick and 159 grams heavy, probably designed more for outdoor use.
Multi coated surface (28 layers), glass filter, scratch-resistant, waterproof,...
You get startled when you hold the part for the first time.
There is a scale at the front that shows the approximate values, everything is easy to grip on the frame itself or can be adjusted with the small, screwed on handle.
The filter rotates completely, i.e. there is a tiny step at the end of/ND1000 before it goes up again. Since no stopper is used here, you have to set fairly precisely if you want to get the highest ND value.
Even though it is of course the usual design of these filters, I don't find it particularly practical or easy to adjust. You really have to be careful, the scale doesn't necessarily help because the highest effect only comes after the “1000ND” entry. And a little more turn, the ND decreases again.
Visually everything is ok, I couldn't notice any great/annoying color changes - at least nothing that you wouldn't have expected with this type of filter.
With and without filters, the image stays sharp.
The whole thing comes in a plastic bag, where the filter is loose, without another cover - here too I'm more of a fan of the lockable plastic cases, but okay.
For 80 euros, you can get a good tool.
Not the best for me, but that is complaining at a high level.
