During the last heavy rains, water ran into our basement. I then suspected a rainwater downpipe that runs inside a house wall and weighed it up: buy it or have someone come directly with equipment? In the latter case, 200€ are quickly gone with the journey, as I had to find out myself.
I then decided on this device with a dual camera, which, as you can see from the example image, was the right decision. Of course, you can't control exactly where the camera head is, which is precisely why the dual camera is helpful, because by rotating the cable you get something more in focus with the side camera than with the front camera.
You should actually always activate the video recording immediately, because in case of doubt you can record places in between that you can no longer reach / focus on afterwards. The videos are saved uncompressed, which is not a problem at first since the memory card is large enough. If you want to send the videos, you should then compress them afterwards with common tools.
Sure, it's not a professional device and the image quality on a large screen is only moderate. But you can't expect more in this price range. But it is enough, for example, in the event of a pipe burst, to get an initial picture of the problem and then to see where the problem lies and whether the professional has to come or not.
Of course, I can't say anything about durability yet. Anyone who has to use something like this on a daily basis is more likely to buy a device in the middle three-digit range.
All in all I am very satisfied and give a clear purchase recommendation!
