Bend it to compensate for holding your phone sideways; flexible, sturdy but not stubborn, well up to the task of holding onto your phone for videos. Just watch the clip; it will spring off if you don't strap in the phone carefully, just during set up, not afterwards. Over half the videos at integr8dsoul.com were composed with at least one camera set up on this stand.
