bought the glass as an addition to the deer stand in order to be able to respond better, i.e. 12x is almost impossible to hold still freehand, in my opinion the absolute limit, it works wonderfully when propped up! Otherwise bright, optics are good, edge sharpness sufficient. The rubber coating is easy to grip, but unfortunately also attracts some dust. The lens and eyepiece caps are loose - they would be better attached to the glass, which means I carry the glass without the caps in my bag. The eyepiece adjustment is a little too easy for people who wear glasses. An absolute lightweight without looking cheap. All in all a good glass for little money.
