THIS is the perfect first camera for a young person. For the very affordable price, you receive the camera, TWO batteries, a 32GB SD card, and the charging cable, etc. THIS not only give them the ability to take pretty good resolution pics . . . BUT . . . very acceptable video. (well . . . acceptable for kids and YouTube vlogging)

It’s a great little camera for kids without being overly complicated or pricey. THIS would be a great way to let a young person exhibit their ability to care for things. If they do well with this and show interest, then they can step up to a nicer camera.

The settings are not complicated and can easily be accessed with a press of the “MENU” button. (There IS a “factory reset” in case your young one really confuses it)

The SD card comes installed so all you have to do is peel off the protective plastics, slip in a battery, and start shooting! One word about inserting the battery . . . There is a little “latch” at the top of the battery compartment to hold in the battery. Move this to the side to clear the way for the battery, insert the battery all the way, then make sure the little “latch” moves back into place to secure the battery.

Ultimately, is it worth the price? YES!
