I wanted a thermal camera for youtube content I've been working on. With this I can just plug it into my phone (Pixel Fold) and record video and pictures with it. The camera itself is a bit weird at first, its easy to cover the lens with your fingers if you aren't paying attention, and the default color 'scheme' doesn't match what you maybe used to on TV/Video. You can change the color scheme in the app, it doesn't have the color depth of some of the cameras I've seen, but it suffices - it could very well fall on the user more than the camera, but that goes into my issue and why I docked this to (4) stars - the app.

The app is accessed outside of the Google store, via some Asian website. They host multiple apps that look like they could work, but if you don't pick the right one, it will look like it works, but it does NOT, this is made all the more harder being primarily in another language. Once installed, everything was in English and navigating around is pretty simple, but there were definitely headaches getting this working the first time. The app is fairly basic (unless I'm missing something), but gets the job done.
