Almost great
I recently started filming more video after years of just taking travel photos. For photos, I still prefer single stop ND filters because they provide the absolute least amount of color and exposure issues when compared to variable filters. However, for amateur run-and-gun travel video making the variable filters are so useful that the convenience outweighs the image degradation. I also picked up the Neewer "true color" variable ND filter, which I liked when not compared to another filter. However, after looking at these two filter options, I find the Neewer option to be brown or yellow compared to this K&F option. For what its worth, I think both options are useable and worth the cost. However, I can tell you that I like the image out of this filter much better. However, this filter doesn't have a hard stop at each end, so the filter just spins and spins and you have to decide where the filter is the strongest or weakest. The Neewer option has a stop and the strongest and weakest setting, making is easier to control. On that issue, I'd find these variable filters better is they had a small knob to help spin the filter. The knob not only making the filter easier to turn in the hurry without getting a finger print on the edge, the knob would also provide a visual cue as to where the filter was set. While this has room for improvement, I think this works perfectly for my needs, especially when you consider the relatively low cost of the filter. It isn't cheap, but it's good enough that you don't need to spend $100 in my opinion.
