At this time there are hundreds of five-star reviews and K&F has developed a reputation for quality in my mind. This is a sturdy, capable tripod and deserves a look.
It is not small or particularly light. At it's shortest it's still about 22" long. The bag it comes with is quality and spacious enough that it's not a pain to put in.
The feet are rubber and unscrew for replacement or (I guess) leveling. There's no spikes. Leg clamps are the flip-up type and are sturdy.
The top part of the tripod is an absolute mass of knobs for adjusting it every which way. Five knobs are required for positioning, a sixth for the arca base (for which a very nice medium-size base is included), and a seventh for rotating the positioning handle out of the way. You'll be using this one a lot, because it seems like in every configuration I was bumping something into something else. Quick configuration changes are not likely, but you can almost definitely find the position you need.
The minimum height is pretty high, but the overhead arm can be angled down, or the whole central column can be reversed by unscrewing the weight hanger.
Getting it all put back in the bag requires slotting the horizontal arm into the vertical tube, then getting all the parts lined up. Like a drum cymbal stand, if you've every used one of those.
The top head is spring-loaded for some reason, to return to level-ish (or rather perpendicular to the horizontal tube).
One of the legs comes off to use as a monopod; you'll have to detach most of the top to use as a head, making a fairly cumbersome contraption (I don't need a pan head with a monopod). But it works.
Overall four stars. It's very well made but (I think) tries to do too much.
