Never bad to have a spare or two.
Misplaced my original mount only to find it just after receiving these spare mounts.
They work well for my Canon DSLRs, never bad to have some spares scattered throughout your kit - especially when you need to grab your tripod in a hurry for Northern Lights.
Not much more to say.
