You press it again to release it.The back panel is clear to read even in now light as it’s backlit. The flash can also be fired the conventional sync lead.Be avare using wide angle lenses as it gives quite obvious vignette and by saying wide I mean 24mm and wider, you’d probably start seeing vignette some, but I only tested this flash with one fixed zoom wide angle lense.I really enjoy exploring the capabilities of this ring flash and it hasn’t disappointed me in any way, especially taking in consideration the price. It’s great value for money. Just one thing, I just wish someone marked the a and b flashes , as I keep confusing them. But I guess, that’s just a matter of getting used to it.
