I've tried multiple cheaper stands and mostly they are similar regarding the payload, sturdiness and similar. But there are few points that impressed me for these stands:1. Light installation. Usually these type of stands have one pin right below screw mount and then light like the one I have mounted on it can't go totally in, like on photo, where with this stands can!2. Even on totally extended poles, it can easily handle the payload of the light and its Softbox without sandbags, which in combination is very front heavy3. That rubberish feet end is very pleasant to be used on floor like I have (carpet).I tried to use it as "c stand", but the payload was little too much for it, that's why I left only to test and I don't practice that at all. But it is very fine to mount any microphone, as microphones are very light. This stands kit I can recommend to anyone, who needs better then those that usually comes in kit with lights.
Very sturdy, even on highest extension Very sturdy, even on highest extension

The light stands are very light and compact, and fold really neatly. When open they are tall as described and come with the ball head which is amazingly handy. The telescopic action is smooth and they lock really well. One thing to comment is that the legs when opened have a small footprint, which is great in small spaces but affect stability, which in fully extended height can be a bit wobbly. You cannot have lightweight, compact and super steady, so for the price these light stands are awesome.
Very light and compact, but not for heavy lights.

The only downside is the base bolt doesn’t quite tighten as much as I’d like. Meaning it slips a bit if I don’t spend enough time tightening it up, and it doesn’t feel as sturdy as one would expect.

Exactly as expected, how long they last, only time will tell but for now they are perfect.
