As an ambitious amateur photographer, I am actually quite well equipped when it comes to tripods (travel, etc.). However, for my product and macro shots, I often lacked the opportunity to bring the camera into a 90-degree position without constantly having the tripod legs on the photo. During my research I came across the tripods from K&F.
I already have a few backpacks and filters from K&F and have always been impressed by the price/performance ratio. Even if this manufacturer is based in China, there is no risk when buying from Amazon. Given the rather high price for this tripod, I hesitated a bit at first, but then decided to buy it.

*** Delivery ***

Ordered today - there tomorrow. This is how Amazon Prime works. Always impressive...

*** Optics / first impression / scope of delivery ***

I like the look of the tripod. The orange parts give the whole thing a certain pep. I like that...my other tripods aren't all black either. The tripod is made of aluminum and makes a stable and well-made impression. I am happy to add to my review if I have long-term experience, which I always find very helpful myself.
The SA234T1 comes with a sleek black case that has a detachable shoulder strap. It makes a high-quality and stable impression and even has a reflective strip. I love these small but fine details in K&F products!

*** Function ***

For me, the most important feature of this tripod is the 90 degree foldable center column. The photos show the positions in which the camera can be placed. A tripod plate is included, but I attached an L-bracket to my Canon EOS M5, which I use instead of the plate. Fits wonderfully!

The center column can also be pulled out completely and mounted in reverse. This allows the camera to be positioned very close to the ground, for example to take macro shots of flowers or similar. That's exactly what I wanted!

You can also convert the center column into a giant monopod. The tripod can be extended to over 2 meters, although I will never use this height (I would need a ladder with my 1.64m :-D). I'm not sure if the tripod will still be stable.

The panorama function of the tripod head is certainly useful for one or the other. I don't take panorama photos and therefore don't use them.

*** Weight ***

At just under 2 kilos, the tripod is not exactly a lightweight. But I knew that beforehand. I didn't buy the tripod to take with me on a hiking holiday either. It's at home or I take it with me when I want to take macro shots. For all other activities I have other tripods with a correspondingly lower weight.

*** Conclusion ***

The tripod makes a solid and stable impression. The center column, which can be rotated by 90 degrees, was the reason for my purchase and this function is simply brilliant. It allows for so many different positions! I can really recommend the tripod. I think there is also a smaller version that is a bit cheaper. I figured the larger version would probably be more stable too. In addition to my small M5, I often use my Canon EOS RP with extension handle and a Canon EF 100mm L 2.8 Macro for my shots. This station wagon has a little more weight than the M5.

So I have a clear recommendation to buy the SA254T1 tripod.

Buscaba a tripod for my reflex camera, that no fuera muy grande, para que plegado pudiera llevarlo en la mochila. Me recomendaron este, y estoy encantada con él. It adapts perfectly to any type of photo camera that makes me happy.

This is the most adaptable tripod I've ever seen.First off, It's extremely tall. I'm 6'3", and when it's fully deployed I can't reach the camera button to take a picture. If I wanted to get a crane shot with whatever I had on hand, this is what I would use. I might actually get some use out of the remote I purchased with my camera years ago.The monopod option feels a bit gimmicky, but if I had just enough room to take one (pod?) with me and felt like I might need a tripod, or a monopod, this is really the only thing I've ever seen that can be both.It has a 90 degree joint so I can get those top down product shots, and it even comes with a ball mount so I don't have to attach my own head. Speaking of the ball mount, it has a great smooth motion, so if I wanted to (and you have steady enough hands) I could use it as a steady axis for panning and tilting motion shots. On top of all that, the legs splay way out, so not only can I get extremely high shots, I can use this as a very low tripod that holds the camera inches away from the ground. With the 90 degree elbow arm, I can even hold the camera out to the side, and swing it upside down with the ball mount holding it at nearly ground level. The legs deploy fairly well. I've used legs with smoother action, but they're not bad. It's light and with the bag it's easy to carry around. The only thing left to talk about is the sturdiness. I'd call it mostly sturdy. I'd trust it to hold my camera, but on a windy day there will be motion in the shot. I can feel a bit of wiggle, and there's more with it fully extended. If I was using it for long exposure photography, I'd want to throw some sand bags on the hook.Overall a great tripod for anyone looking for an all-in-1 solution.Highly recommended.

Joints are sloppy, especially the leg joints. The ball joint either holds or the camera flops over. I'm not yet sure the saving is enough to offset the lower quality. Similar tridops can be more expensive but are probably a better option based on quality and ease of use.

excellent quality product and good design comes with a medium quality transport bag and a carry bag, comes in a box the tripod measures about 42 cm when it is closed for transport and the minimum height is about 56 cm, its maximum height 1.70 cm The higher the height, the lower the stability. I recommend a counterweight to keep it stable and not raise the ball, which with more weight could fall. Although it is tight, it can also fall. In addition, the maximum weight supported is 10 kilos. Keep in mind that you should always put 2 kilos less on it to prevent it from falling. fall or break under the weight.
If it is your first tripod, it is worth being careful with the wheels and not tightening them too much because they could break just by turning when you arrive and not tightening it, the rubber bands on the legs will wear out over time so do not be surprised when they break even so The model is quite good and I consider it to be in the middle of its longest, largest and most expensive 2-meter model and its 1.30 m model, which is the smallest, this one is in the middle, its weight is 1,690 aluminum, I highly recommend it, but have Note that it will end due to wear because each joint where the balls are will wear out due to use, it is just an observation. I highly recommend it.

I've got a few other lightweight/portable tripods for this price range, and they've all exceeded my expectations - everything felt extremely solid. On the other hand, this tripod feels like it should cost half the price that it does.In one solid piece as you pull it out of the bag, it looks and feels sturdy, but when you start to assemble it, its easy to notice all the poor tolerances. It's not every part, maybe only 30% of the entire tripod feels janky, but thats more than I'd expect at this price. The clips that hold the legs in position move almost an entire inch without any tension on them, the knobs that let the legs fall out and lock feel like you can easily pop them off, and when extended outwards, the tripod head doesn't really feel like it locks in place unless you torque the main knob down.At the end of the day, it works, and the flaws I mentioned haven't really interfered with anything other than my confidence in the unit, so I don't think I should take off more than one star, but at the same time, its definitely not a 5 star tripod at this price in my opinion.
Its a 3 star quality, but the features bump it up to 4 Its a 3 star quality, but the features bump it up to 4 Its a 3 star quality, but the features bump it up to 4 Its a 3 star quality, but the features bump it up to 4 Its a 3 star quality, but the features bump it up to 4

I'm a part-time photographer, I mainly do architecture and interior photography, but whenever I can I like to look for locations for landscape, nature, long exposure and night photography.

So far I've been running a Vanguard Alta with a ball joint replaced and a leveling pad attached, but I needed something more stable, sturdy and taller. There are many varieties of models and brands of tripods, but if we go to the best-known brands, the prices skyrocket and they are not always as good as expected.

Also, buying a tripod online without being able to test it is risky, but 3 or 4 years ago I started trusting the K&F Concept brand and to date they have not disappointed me. I have a backpack, filters, led lights, even other travel tripods that I love. So I decided to try this model that also has an incredible working height.

Well, after trying it I have to say that I really liked it. As usual in the brand, the tripod comes with a very resistant carrying case of good quality. The tripod is made of aluminum, not very heavy but enough to provide stability and security to a professional camera.

I like it because just extending the legs puts the camera at eye level (I'm 1.93m), and just picking up the last section of each leg puts the camera at an excellent height for taking indoor photos (1 ,40m approx). In addition, it has a central column with two sections that, in addition to gaining height, can be turned 90 and left completely horizontal. As you can see in one of the photos, the fully extended and vertical tripod reaches the height of a mini-basketball basket (approximately 2.40 m). The head is very fluid and I find it perfectly usable for tracking and panning for video.

It features 4 sections on each leg, plus one of the legs can be easily detached and used as a monopod. The head is resistant and supports SLR cameras with professional lenses, up to 10 kg, in my case with my heaviest camera and lens, it doesn't even get messy.

I still need to find the ideal day to try it on a long exposure photo of the milky way, but from what I've tried so far it seems like a perfect tripod for everything and at a fairly reasonable price. In other brands it would not be unusual for them to ask you for twice the money to have the same thing. Highly recommended.

I had no idea tripods could be so expensive, but I guess this is one of those items that really says you get what you pay for! A cheap camera tripod we just bought a few years ago recently broke so we decided to invest in a sturdy professional tripod. One that would be durable enough to last us for years to come and would be able to hold our camcorder and would also be compatible with our mirrorless camera and a DSLR camera in case we decide to get one in the future. We wanted to get a reliable tripod in time to capture images to see Comet Neowise which only orbits the sun every 7,000 years, so it's a once in a lifetime experience. Unfortunately, it was too foggy and there were too many clouds the two times we went into the mountains, but this tripod held up like a champ in cold 50 degrees Fahrenheit and windy conditions. The instructions say not to use it in temperatures below minus 40 degrees or above 100 degrees. The tripod is made of sturdy aluminum alloy tubes. The KF-28 metal ball head has a maximum load capacity of 22 pounds and can be rotated 360 degrees, which can easily hold a heavy DSLR camera and provide excellent panoramic shooting. Make sure not to exceed the specified maximum load. This tripod is easy to set up by simply flipping the legs the opposite way and using the clamps to secure it in place. There are four (4) leg sections and the knob allows you to adjust the height. The height with the two (2) center column sections can be extended to 93.8 inches, which is tall enough to take large group shots from a bird's eye view. The height without the column reaches 67.7 inches. There is also a lightweight and detachable monopod that can extend up to 98.4 inches for your various photography needs. For panoramic shots, the center column moves from 0 to 180 degrees and can be rotated 360 degrees horizontally. This also comes with a nice, durable carrying case to protect your tripod and make it portable for travel. The case also has a strap that you can use to carry over your shoulder for convenience. My only complaint is the weight. As it is heavy duty it weighs just over six (6) pounds which is heavier than most tripods but it is definitely the best looking tripod we have owned and you can tell by the high quality and details. When my husband uses it for filming with our camcorder it is very stable and I'm sure it will last us for many years! If I wanted to take a picture with a crane with whatever I had handy , that's what I would use I could actually I use the remote I bought with my camera years ago The monopod option seems a bit fancy but if I had just enough room to pack one (pod?) be both It has a 90 degree joint so I can get those product shots up and down, and it even comes with a ball joint mount so I don't don't have to tie my own head. Speaking of the ball mount, it has very smooth movement, so if I wanted to (and you have sufficiently steady hands) I could use it as a stable axis for panning and tilting shots. On top of all that, the legs are set wide apart, so not only can I get extremely high shots, but I can also use it as a very low tripod that keeps the camera inches off the ground. With the 90-degree angled arm, I can even hold the camera sideways and rotate it upside down with the ball-and-socket mount that keeps it nearly level with the ground. The legs spread quite well. I've used legs with a softer action, but they're not bad. It is lightweight and with the bag it is easy to carry. It only remains to talk about the solidity. I would call it mostly rugged. I would trust it to hold my camera, but in windy weather there will be movement in the shot. I can feel a little squirming, and there's more with her fully extended. If I was using it for long exposure photography, I would throw sandbags on the hook. Overall a great tripod for anyone looking for an all in one solution. Hello dear buyer, My current rating is not a rating for professionals. I bought an expensive tripod based on the logic "higher price - better quality". And I was not disappointed. I am completely satisfied. Sincerely, Nikolas E.
