Slight yellow cast off vet the image. I used it for video, now switched to different one from K&F it isn’t as strong but doesn’t have the yellow cast

The 1/8th strength provides a nice subtle diffusion to your footage. It help to slightly bring up your shadows while maintaining a bit of contrast and provides a subtle bloom to the highlights. I would put this right up there with the Tiffen Black Pro Mist filter.
A great soft diffusion filter A great soft diffusion filter

Soft nebula that has presence but doesn't overwhelm the subject.

This filter is the cinema. Its the perfect strength for any video work and photos as well although the 1/8 might be better for regular client work. Watching footage shot with this filter is an experience in itself. Quality retention is spot on. My only regret is not buying the 82mm so I wouldn't have to buy more than one. I would recommend this for anyone looking for that "Cinematic Look". This is it. This is the cinema.
Instant Cinema!

Nice filter. Definitely comes handy in certain situations. Great for sharp lenses especially with no character. This adds some mood to it. It’s nice to have, looks well made and o love that I can apply to a lens and still be able to use the lens cover over the filter when not in use. I use it on my Sony 18-105 f/4 and the sigma 18-35 f/1.8 and am quite happy with the result. In my images the last image is the one without the filter, hopefully you can get an idea what it does.
Nice to have filter. Nice to have filter. Nice to have filter. Nice to have filter.

While they are not B&W or even Tiffen, I do like K&F Concept filters. Their filters tend to be well made, have a minimum of distortion and colorization especially considering their reasonable price. The 52mm Nano-X Black Soft Filter is another example of a well made, inexpensive filter.

Keep in mind that this is a special effects filter. It won’t be much value in normal, everyday photography. It is a Diffusion Effect filter. These filters were very popular in Hollywood films especially in the 1940s and 1950s. The were used for reducing blemishes and wrinkles on actor’s faces (especially on women) and for creating glowing effects. However, if you need or want these kinds of effects in your images, the K&F Concept 52mm Nano-X Black Soft Filter will do the job at a reasonable cost.

Works very well. Diffusion looks nice and not super strong and my lens cap fits on top.
