This is genuinely one of the best trail cameras I have used for day and night time photos or videos.

A big mistake, I regret buying this, I'll replace it with a wireless unit. It's nicely designed and built, but I'm not sure the designer actually tried it out. He certainly took no tips from the designs of mobile phones. It should not be necessary to open the package to access on/off/USB. These should be waterproofed and remotely controlled to 'able/disable' the camera. Simply approaching the camera creates a raft of useless images. That's what it's intended to do, but against animals, not the owner. The catches are fiddly in the dark. Battery consumption of even top quality batteries seems high. Being used to seeing my astro telescope images in my office, it just didn't occur to me that there would be no remote control.

This camera is great to see what animals are coming onto your garden at night, also this can be used as home surveillance.Ths Design of the camera looks greats also blends with the tree bark. Setting up the camera is straight forward also the manual is very clear on what to do.The picture quality looks great both image and picture the camera also allows you to take images and videos when the motion sensor is triggered, you are able to set the length of time of the video recording.The video also captures the sound which is very clear.The only down is that the camera uses an 8 AA battery which I would like to see a lithium battery where you are able to charge and replace when, the camera doesn't come with sd card which you have to supply your own, so the camera can't be used straight out of the box.Overall I would give 4 out of 5

This trail cam is really good, the menu’s are so easy to use and understand, it takes good photos and video, the quality is really good. Even the night photos and videos are good.Also being able to thread the strap through the unit is good, much better than the ones I’ve had in the past that have a cradle type of rear mount that come off too easily after securing your trail cam to small trees. My only gripe is that the bracket on the strap is broken but I always use my own ratchet straps as they are much easier to use.

Very pleased, found it easy to set up, and play back.First night recorded three muncjac deer and a fox.Night time quality not as good as daytime, but that was expected

It's set up to take wildlife video at night and does an excellent job of capturing any animal that walks in front of if even if it is 15 feet away. The still pictures are good quality. The only thing I don't like is the image becomes blurry when the animal is standing right in front of the camera.

My motivation for getting this camera is perhaps slightly different to most people, as I use it primarily as an additional aid to home security.+ The instructions are clear and easy to follow and setting up the camera for use is very straightforward.+ Picture quality is good both for video and photographs.+ You have the option to take video, stills or both. You can also choose the quality level for each of these, so that you can potentially save on memory requirements if you do not need higher definition quality.+ Sound capture is also good.+ The camera is versatile and can easily be moved to a different location.+ Dual power source means that this can either be run off mains power or 8 x AA batteries.Navigating your way through the menu on the field camera is simple and pretty self-explanatory. You may need to look at the results you get from the first few uses of the camera and then play around with the basic settings until you find the set-up that works best for you.There is very little to be critical of with this field camera. In an ideal world it would be nice if it were able to be used straight from the box. However, this would mean that the manufacturer would need to include an SD card, power cable and / or batteries and there would obviously be an on-cost to doing that which may put some purchasers off. I already had a suitable power cable and batteries, but I did need to buy a new 32GB SD card before I could use the camera.Overall, this is an impressive piece of kit.

Excellent device, clear night time black and white and day time colour videos and still photographs. However, instruction booklet English language description is not exactly well written - probably a poor translation from another language!
