UPDATE - amazing customer service! Company got in touch after I said that we couldn’t get it to connect to its own Wi-Fi, so couldn’t set it up to the app on the phone. Made a good will gesture so we’re trying again with their help and advice on how to set up properly this time!

Nice camera, has a strap and screw thread at base to fix outside. Night photography is black and white although it seems a bit slow to react to movement but better then others. Using the video setting constantly eats batteries, as the instruction book states.

Can't get the WiFi to work. There is no cable included to connect the watch to set the WiFi.

Excellent photos and videos, even at night. Best feature is ability to set PIR delay to zero. Have tried 6 different trail cameras now but with all the others delay can only be set to 5 or 10 seconds so most of the fast moving wildlife we get in our garden is lost, they have passes out of view by the time the camera is activated!Good battery life plus ability to use external mains PSU or solar battery pack is very useful.Overall for the price the best trail camera I have found.

I use mine and it does a job but the sensitivity is hard to master as it picks up a lot of useless stuff.It’s expensive for something that feels so much more basic than Nest cameras etc. quality of the night vision seems to vary but when it’s set in the right position it is very good. Have caught mice, foxes, birds, squirrels and cats so far. Bought it to see a hedgehog but clearly not attracted any just yet. It’s fiddly to start with, I’ve stopped using the app and just put the SD card into a computer instead and it works better.

I have been using for about a week. Have not used for long enough to say how long the batteries last. Mine is setup for 15second video recording with the low picture quality setting. This results in a 18MByte video that you can view via the app. To view images/videos you have a small remote to switch on the camera’s WiFi and then you can view on the app. Switch WiFi off after and it will go back to normal operation. You can set it to take just pictures or videos or both. On the app you can change the settings of the camera but remember to switch the camera WiFi on first and switch it off when you have finished. Also, if your phone is in dark mode (dark background white text) then you cannot see the text when in the app camera settings. Phone needs to be in light mode (white background black text)

It all works very well. But I’m always dissatisfied when I order something, it turns up and you can’t use it. I bought it at a discounted price, but it had no memory card, and no batteries, it needs 8 batteries by the way. So I ordered a pack of 24 batteries (3X8) and a 125 GB memory card. When they turned up I couldn’t format the card until I put a bit of tape around the card to close off the slot that prevents formatting. Then I had to put it into the camera and re-format it. So I wouldn’t recommend this item unless you have the skills and equipment to do the formatting. And you also need to add the cost of the card and a few sets of batteries to the cost. Maybe you can buy something that runs OK straight out of the box for the same price or cheaper. But once it’s set up and running it’s absolutely fine.
