Best black mist filter I’ve ever used. Sharp image with a subtle soft glow.

Perfect to create beautiful pictures with a vintage look. Delivered in a round box. The material is also handy and handy, very high-quality workmanship.

I bought this 72MM filter supplied with the Sigma 18-35 and it is now indispensable for my video productions. It gives an analog effect that makes the images softer, the action around the lights is perfect and not annoying, moreover the production quality is high. It has a double thread to be able to overlap multiple filters and is equipped with a rigid case, for safe transport, with an anti-slip triangle inside (therefore usable with different filter sizes). At the current price it is a must.

Though the suggested use for this filter seems to be softening portraits, I have been exclusively using it on my macro lens for flower photography. And, for that purpose, it's great!
Essentially the class looks like it's been dotted subtly with specks of dark paint (imagine what it would look like if you lightly spraypainted a glass surface). The result is a subtle softening of any photos you take.
Note that the softening effect of this filter can be obtained through photo editing software. So, there is an argument for not using a filter like this at all. Without this filter, you could decide whether or not you wish to soften the image later. But if you use the filter, you will have lost potential detail that you might later wish you had.
But if you know that your goal is softening this filter does it optically, rather than your needing to do it digitally. As for me, I'm happy to have it, especially because spring flowers have started blooming!

The 1/4 thickness makes for a nice subtle scattering of your footage. It helps to highlight your shadows slightly while maintaining a little bit of contrast, and gives the highlights a subtle bloom. I would place this right there with the Tiffen Black Pro Mist Filter.
