Slipped one of these on and my drone footage looked remarkably more balanced with no washout. Excellent filters

These work really well and let you "meter" a bit easier before take off.
It is a real pain to keep changing out other individual filters and causes more handling of the delicate gimbal. These you just turn until you have the preferred exposure. The different stops are numbered so it is clear when you have to switch to the higher leveled one.
And they do make a clear improvement to video quality. You can cruise around at 1/60 without washed out skies and it adds more dynamism to the video. Even with darker skies they can be left on. All the way stopped down there is very little impact.
They are a bit hard to detach but that is not a bad thing as you want these to stay put. They also feel very sturdy and feel like high quality metal.

I bought this variable filter on a bit of a gamble as they can be hit or miss in the DSLR world. This one worked fantastically for my drone. My mavic pro 3 was not affected by the weight of the lens and the adjustment was easily made to shoot from shaded to direct sun in an instant. Holding the camera with one hand while the drone rested in my lap and rotating the filter lens worked well but you must exercise caution. I'm sure the "proper" procedure would be to turn the drone off and on again but this worked fine for me.

I really liked the idea of a variable ND filter but unfortuntely could not get these to attach to my DJI Mini 3 Pro. Neither one would secure and just fall off the camera. I have tried numerous filters from Freewell and they all attach as secure as the factory cover that is removed when installing any filter. Not as advertised.

KNF filters have always been my favorite when it comes to photography for my Mirroless and digital SLR cameras as I’ve been my journey into drone, photography and videography, it’s only one brand I would trust and that is KNF. I see all of my drone footage and log so that is muted and low contrast so I can color great and greatly however, I found I get a lot of watch the highlights to high sunlight using my drone so I got me some new students sit right here and it gives me just enough of a pull down for my foot is so I can maintain high quality well with very little color cast. I’m sticking with Brandt I know it a very snug attachment to fit onto my drone. I had no problem putting it on and I had zero worries about it falling off possibly midflight. Kenneth has always been dependable for me and this makes me happy because I’ve never had a doubt the quality or the coverage before or ever.

Works really well! Much cheaper than having separate filters. A must have for those bright sunny days

It creates reflections of the sun's rays on the glass, sometimes these reflections are verry bad and you only see reflections, sun rays automatically focused by the camera
