I decided to buy these and tbh I didn't expect much...but damn I'm glad I was wrong for the money you pay they far far far far exceed the price...I've quickly tested them and so far I have no complaints, but tomorrow night I'll give them a proper test

If you turn on the IR illuminator the turn OFF the viewer you think the whole device is off....but the IR illuminator is still on!!!!!

Neat little machine and a perfect present for a wildlife mad friend who has badgers on his property. Unfortunately I missed the fact that it didn't come with rechargeable batteries which are a necessity with a device like this as it draws quite a lot of power from the 6 x 1.5v AA batteries that aren't included and I expect this has helped keep the price down compared to similar more pricey units. You will also if you want to record video or take photos require an SD card which is to be expected and not required if you intend to use as you would a pair of normal binoculars. Nice feature to have but not a necessity. Very simple to use and very clear optics, but it is amazing to click through the various infrared intensity levels and suddenly be able to see on even the darkest nights with any wildlife showing brightly, it really is quite magical. Overall very pleased for the money paid.

It worked really well and is very clear, but one I was disappointed about was how far it zoomed in. otherwise really good for the price

I’m still trying these out as I haven’t had anything like this before. We have bears, deer, elk, coyotes, flying squirrels, raccoons, weasels and mountain lions roaming around our cabin at night so I’ll have plenty to view and record!
