K&F Concept Nano-X PRO series ND1000 filter 67mm neutral density filter (10 Stop)

From packaging to the finished image, everything at the highest level. The quality and workmanship of the filter is top top top. It can be gently screwed into the lens thread without being misunderstood. The image results were convincing and I was unable to find any negative effects. (color fringes or similar) My A7III has ~ 9 stops. But there is always a certain amount of leeway here.

How do you rate the price of such a filter? I think people with photographic experience know how much such a high-quality filter costs. I think the price is quite reasonable for the high-quality and very well-made filter.

I have now extensively tested this “K&F Concept Nano-X PRO Series ND1000 filter” and would like to share my experiences today:

First of all, I was pleasantly surprised by the packaging, because “K&F” really took care to package this “Pro” filter attractively. In addition to a cleaning cloth, you also get a leather bag to store the filter. The bag is very well made and gives a high-quality impression. The filter itself is also very well made, I ordered it from Sony for my two 67mm lenses. The filter has a brass frame and can be easily screwed onto the lenses. It's also not too bulky due to its slim design.

The surface of the ND1000 filter has been coated on both sides with a 36-fold nano coating, and K&F states that the filter is waterproof, dirt-resistant and scratch-resistant. I even involuntarily tested the durability of this coating, because I fell it onto the dirt road when I unscrewed it from the lens, but nothing happened to it and its surface. The surface was easy and easy to clean afterwards, I am very satisfied with the coating. Of course, I wouldn't let it count and therefore recommend that you handle the filter carefully.

The filter enables long exposures in daylight, as you reduce 10 aperture levels with this neutral density filter. I also uploaded an unedited photo with a 30sec long exposure, which I took on a river with my Sony Alpha 7iii and the “K&F Concept Nano-X PRO Series ND1000 filter”. I've already taken several photos with the filter and I'm very satisfied with the image quality. I did not notice any visual impairment due to the use of the filter.

I really enjoy shooting with the filter, I am very satisfied with the results of the photos. I will definitely continue to use this ND1000 filter from “K&F”. I can make a recommendation.

I've become a fan of K&F Concept filters. The glass is flawless and the build quality is top notch on this filter. I attached before and after shots using the filter. As you can see this is a strong ND, great for specialty shots. It also comes with a really nice case, and the box converts to a picture frame.

The filter is manufactured to a very high standard and is also well protected thanks to a pouch.
I have a Canon 850D. It can be screwed onto it exactly and is a perfect fit.
The dimming of 10 steps is already a house number.
That makes the heart of every amateur photographer beat faster.
The result and price are right for me and I recommend buying

Very much up to the expectations of a K&F filter. Nicely made, thin brass frame. No observed color cast in images nor distortions. Comes well packaged and includes a soft carry case.

This filter is top-notch and is another example of K&F creating outstanding filters for photographers everywhere. This is my fifth filter by K&F and all of them have impressed me, and this filter is no different. It produces stunning results on a bright day. I tested it over about thirty different photos to see where the sweet spot is. If you are looking for a 10-stop ND filter, this one is what you probably want, and it comes with a really nice leather filter bag.

If I'm honest, I've always relied on established brand manufacturers for filters, such as B&W or Rodenstock set. Although I also have a few filters from Kase and K&F in my inventory, I haven't really had Asian manufacturers on the subject of filters yet.
And that is exactly what K&F now wants to change with the Nano-X Pro series

A+ lens, this lens is of high quality, and I love it. This is not my first K&F, and I know for a fact that my pictures are going to be great. The case looks great, and it came with a cleaning wipe.

I've been taking pictures myself for over 15 years and professionally too. I already had one or the other filter in my hands privately for landscape (polarization filter, ND filter, graduated filter), but I usually didn't spend more than 50-80$ on it. It simply wasn't worth more to me. I was able to request this ND1000 here for testing and I was quite shocked by the price. 200$+ for a 77mm ND filter, I was curious what to expect.

Positive:

- I was already surprised by the packaging. It comes in a kind of cardboard box, which then contains the leather case, a microfiber cloth and the filter. Even then everything looked very high-quality. As for the packaging, I have to say that K&F has come up with something great. In fact, you can convert the packaging into a picture frame. Instructions and material are included. I think that's a great idea. Although only a square photo fits in, I still think it was well thought through.
- The leather case is also of high quality and protects the filter perfectly.
- The filter itself is well made. It is easy to screw into the filter thread, has special spots on the outside edge for more grip and fits perfectly.
- I couldn't find any vignetting during testing because the edge of the filter is very thin.
- I can't fault anything else with the imaging performance, but I couldn't fault anything about my previous cheaper filters either.

Negative:

- The included microfiber cloth could have been saved. Unfortunately, this does not match the high-quality rest. It is so thin that you can look through it.

The filter is not cheap, but it is made of really high quality. I can recommend him.

The ND1000 is very dark and of limited use so you must decide if you really need it. If you do, then K&F Concept gives good value for the money. Nice performance and nice presentation. Recommended.
