I decided to build a teaching microscope myself. This is the first item I ordered to check the feasibility of my goal. It turned out to be a very handy microscope. The zoom functions are a bit over the top. Otherwise it is highly recommended

What I liked about this product is that it is versatile and more importantly it is Wi-Fi compatible and very easy to use. What I didn't like was the resolution. I think the video could have been a bit better. I used it to look at dirt samples so I need all the pixels I can get. But for the price I can't complain, it's worth it
It is Wi-Fi compatible

This thing is phenomenal! It's super easy to use and the image quality is impressive. I can see the fibers in a piece of paper and film bugs the size of a pinhead. It's even better than the product images make it look. I also like that it connects to my phone so I can view and take pictures without much hassle. This is a fun tool and really a great deal. I highly recommend it.

The wireless capability did not affect the speed of image transfer to the phone. The app is easy to use and works well with the microscope. I was able to zoom in even closer with the device to see the pores of the basil leaf. I wish the platform was bigger to accommodate larger items like large circuit boards.

This kept my nieces (ages 4 and 8) busy and entertained! We took a walk around the lake collecting sea glass, shells, rocks and even sand. We came back and pulled out our treasures the next day to try out the microscope. The app was easy to install and setup was fairly easy. We got to see all of our treasures up close! This was educational fun, which mostly got her looking for new things to learn. I think this is a wonderful article that has given us clear close-up shots. We also recorded some videos to send to their parents. This is great at the advertised price!

Zooms well, not crazy like a real microscope. But still decent, especially since you can use it with the phone. Chargeable, without slides.
Neat, quite similar to a zoom camera

This microscope is super cool. Unlike a traditional microscope, to look at objects you use the microscope viewer, which transfers them to the app. The app lets you see what's on a slide. Once the microscope is on and attached it works pretty well - almost too well as a few things I saw including under my nails were quite shocking the things I could see! lol! In any case, this is a very good microscope.
So cool - watch via app

thought this would be a fun portable benchtop and field microscope for photographing specimens I find on my wanderings, and it is...up to a point. The pictures are ok but not great. While it's advertised as "50x to 1000x" magnification, anything over 50x is sometimes referred to as "digital zoom," meaning it enlarges the image but doesn't increase the actual magnification. As a result, when you zoom in, you don't see more details. Even the claimed 50x magnification is controversial; I wonder if it's not 7x x 7x or something like that. Anyway, it works and not bad for the money. It could be fun to teach kids about science and nature.
Entertaining

My material samples are ceramics and I wanted to get a better digital image without using a stereoscope. This product does fairly well with lower resolution digital images. I can use it to create an initial plan before using other characterization devices.
Great! I can now quickly see my patterns

The wireless digital microscope is a remarkable piece of equipment. With a magnification range of 50-1000x, it delivers excellent detail. WiFi connectivity allows for easy pairing with smartphones for convenient image and video capture. The 1080P HD camera ensures clear images, while the adjustable LED lights provide the right lighting. This portable and easy-to-use microscope is suitable for both hobbyists and students. Highly recommended!
