Great, I added it to my regular tripod and it worked perfectly. It makes it easy to clip or pull out from the tripod and point it in any direction, including upwards for astrophotographers :)

It seems more sophisticated to me than a classic ball joint. By tightening the various knobs the adjustment is very tight. In addition, the carrying weight of 10 kilos is a guarantee of safety.

The head is relatively cheap for a gimbal. The only puzzling thing is that K&F states the load capacity as 20kg and Neewer as 13.6kg, even though they are apparently the same product (at almost the same price). In the instructions, the specified load capacity is directly linked to the variable damping. Accordingly, a camera weighing up to 13.6 kg should be held in position. 20kg probably means the load limit.
