K&F Concept 3-Way Geared Tripod Head CNC Process Aluminum Alloy, High-Precision Fluid Head Load Capacity up to 13.2lbs/6kg,for Photography Equipments
SKU: KF31.047
I've been using this geared head for a few months now and am very pleased with it. The finish is excellent and the gearing is smooth and precise. Love having the Arca compatible plate, it hold my Smallrig cage and Haoge tripod collars very well.
Minor criticism related the the locking feature: you must tighten a screw (no locking option) to secure the arca-style plate. It has never loosened up but I double check it often, especially if i have it on its side to shoot portrait mode. Hard to trust a small bit of metal to keep $2-3K worth of gear safe, but again, no issues so far!

I just bought this for my K&F carbon fiber tripod I got recently, I do astrophotography with a Canon R8 full frame DSLR and this piece of kit is absolutely fabulous!! Well done again Kent Faith for producing another quality piece of kit!! This company really is outstanding and at very affordable prices unlike branded companies who would charge 3-4 times the amount!! Lots of adjustments and foe me beats a ball head 1000%!! Thanks K&F Concept really loving your products!!!

Attached it to a 2x1stake in a concrete filled bucket to take a remote picture in a river. It worked a treat

I wanted to try a gimbal head for my tripod but not being a professional, I couldn't justify the cost of the higher-end brands. The fit and finish of this feels like good quality. There is not a ton of play or wobble in it. I'm able to balance the weight of my Canon RF100-500mm lens and lock it down in a fixed position if I need to. I used it to photograph the full eclipse earlier this year. It may not be the quality of the $500+ gimbal heads, but it doesn't feel like cheap junk either. Unless you are a pro and use it daily, it might be just right.

The K&F Concept 3-Way Geared Tripod Head is a fantastic addition to my photography gear! The millimeter micro-adjustment feature is incredibly precise, making it ideal for star shooting, architectural photography, and other scenarios where accuracy is key. The CNC aluminum alloy construction feels solid and durable, yet it’s not overly heavy.
With a maximum load capacity of 6kg, it comfortably supports my camera and heavier lenses without any wobbling. Adjustments are smooth and intuitive, and the locking mechanisms hold everything securely in place, even for long exposure shots.
This tripod head has significantly improved my workflow, allowing me to frame shots with ease and confidence. For anyone serious about commercial or astrophotography, it’s a must-have tool!

Punto a favor: es pesado mantiene la camara estable.
Punto negativo: es pesado cuando caminas 4 a 7 millas con el se vuelve muy cansado.
Pienso que un producto muy fuerte y resistente cumple con lo que dice.

**Update**
After a week of heavy use, the yaw screw lock stripped while I was unscrewing it. I never tightened it excessively, but it still broke. Initially disappointed, I ordered a replacement from Amazon. I returned the broken one and have been testing the new one thoroughly. I’m happy to report that it’s holding up well so far. I hope the first one was just a lemon and an isolated incident. I’ll provide updates if I encounter any further issues.

As a newcomer to this type of tripod head, my experience with the K&F Concept Upgraded Gimbal Tripod Head has been fantastic. The product feels sturdy, and I trust it with my heavy lenses. Initially, I was cautious, as using expensive equipment on an unfamiliar device can be unnerving.
After watching a few videos on properly setting up and balancing the head on all axes, I was impressed by its performance. Despite being used frequently and stacked with other tripods, it shows no signs of wear or tear. I still thoroughly check and test it before each use, but it is well-built and seems durable over time.
If I encounter any issues, I will update this review accordingly.
