I purchased this levelling base to assist with levelling my Seestar S50 smart telescope. It has made the whole job of levelling the scope so much easier and quicker. The mount is well made, and great quality. Very happy

I'm a studio photographer specializing in photography of artwork. I use a camera stand rather than a tripod and have tried many different heads. So far this is the best. Once I set it for level in both dimensions, I can micro-manage degrees of variation.
Okay, mine is a specialty, but I look forward to also using it on a tripod with my spotting scope. Quick large movements plus easy micro adjustments is amazing.

Check listing for several size options... choose what fits your needs. I replaced a (suposedly) 11lb capacity "pistol grip" ball head on my Sunpak Utra 4TSM with the 24mm 18lb capacity model which now easily holds my Sony A7 + battery grip + 18-300mm lens (about six pounds).

Superb ballhead, well made and easily attatched to my current tripod. After that ballheads tightening knob dropped to bits.

As all of the K&F product, engineered well. I had an issue finding an instruction manual, the customer support provided one. A bit of a balance issue a Nikon Z9 and a 100-400mm with a 2x TC. This is a tough configuration, and not sure any gimbal would struggle, but this one is just lightly out. Other lenses are perfect. It is now a joy to wait for the right shot of the birds.

I wish I could have been able to keep it. It came down to a fluid head or the 3-Way Geared Tripod Head. I chose the fluid head. But to those into still photography this is a must have. Very well built! Very procise.
