Yongnuo YN 35mm f/2 Standard Fixed Focus Lens Autofocus for Nikon F-mount Digital SLR Cameras
SKU: GW21.0002
Got this lens for my D7500 and this will be the beginning of a beautiful relationship LOL The item was shipped fast (same day) and arrived early. I appreciate the small box it came in, I personally don't like receiving large boxes for small items!!
The lens works great! I haven't used it for human portraits but I used my dog Kiefer to test it out and I loved the quality! I'm happy with my purchase!

I am a hairstylist but photographer by hobby I have been so pleased with this lense. For the price it delivers a great quality, I would definitely recommend.

I got this lens over 2 years ago, I got it because of how economical it was back then at just $80, but because it was yongnuo I was embarrassed of shooting with it, I feel like because its a Chinese brand not many people give credit to this lens, but take a look and judge for yourself, these pictures are amazing! Not only that, I tried it on my Nikon D3200, Nikon D7100, and it also works perfectly on my new Nikon D780!
I took a chance and did my Xmas photos with this lens and it performed

For the price, this lens is Fantastic! It’s a little noisy when it is auto focusing but I’m very happy with my purchase.
I took these photos with this 35mm on a Nikon d750

I've read a lot of reviews and I had some apprehension about putting my money down for this lens, but let me tell you my first day of using this lens has been incredible. This thing works as good if not better than any other 35 mm prime I've ever tried. As for the longevity, that I cannot answer. However, the lens is very light in the hand but feels no worse of a build than many plastic cameras you can buy now.
I popped this bad boy onto my Nikon d70 for a test and I was surprised. Even on such an old camera, it made it look and feel like a new camera. I'll be moving it to my professional gear next, but judging by the results I got from this older camera it can only be an improvement on the higher grade gear that I have.
The focus when in manual mode is very smooth, and they seem to have gotten the sound of the motor muted pretty well over the life of this product run. It's about as loud as my 50 mm Nikon f1.8 prime. The only thing I hear is a tiny very quiet wine as the motor seeks focus. If your experimenting with portraiture or you need a first lens, this is a great value. My cameras have no problems recognizing this hardware and using it appropriately. They have improved this product dramatically since it first came out. Focus is razor sharp and the colors are rich and vibrant.
It's a good Gamble of 100 bucks to pick one of these up and give it a shot. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised if you've been shooting a kit lens all this time.
PS. I know the pics are a little dark. I like em that way. :)

The 5 stars are conditional: they account for the remarkably low price of the item. This lens is an amazing bargain. I was expecting a much cheaper build quality for this price, and I knew what to expect in terms of optical quality. Plenty sharp in the center from wide open, edges and corners sharpen up quickly as you stop down. There is no automatic manual focus override, but the AF/MF switch is a nice touch. Build quality really does feel close to on par with the Nikon 85mm 1.8 G lens. I got this as a gift for my father, who shoots a Nikon D610 and D7000, and lately this lens has been living on his 610. He loves the 35mm focal length, and this is a much smaller, lighter package than his 17-35 2.8 or 24-70 2.8 The additional speed is nice as well given the lack of stabilization.

Just got it today and was going to return if it doesn't work on my Z6 with FTZ adapter. I couldn't find any reviews if this is compatible with Z mount so I decided to give it a shot. Well, AF works like a native Nikon G lens on FTZ mount and I can't see any difference in AF speed compared to Afs 50mm 1.8G that I have. I am quite happy with mage quality as well considering how much I paid.

Great lens for the price! I've been researching 35mm lenses for my D750 for a while, and decided to give this one a try since it was under $100. I'm very happy with the results! Shooting at about F7.1 produces sharp images.
Pros:
Very sharp at small F stops.
Very affordable.
Auto focus.
Can open wide for low light.
Works great with full frame camera's.
Cons:
Blur is not very appealing wide open when focusing up close.
Auto focus is a little noisy.
I've included a photo I took with this lens and my D750 while in San Diego.

The day this lens arrived, I shot a wedding with it and then a boudoir session. The photos were beautiful and I'm so happy with it. If you're a Nikon user, and don't have a lot to spend on lenses, buy these! You won't be sorry at all!!
