First photo was shot straight from the box at ISO 3200, f/8.0, 1/60 second with flash, the lens produces clear, sharp RAW (Nikon NEF) images and shows little distortion. The second photo was shot through a layer of plexiglass. The lens works well for portrait, landscape and macro. At 35mm f/2.0 it is fast enough and wide enough for underwater and astrophotography.

If you shoot RAW images, Adobe Lightroom does not recognize the lens, but it does have a profile for it when you input the information manually. This is a great addition to any photographer's kit, being inexpensive is an added bonus.
Better than expected. Better than expected.

Great little lens despite what others post. I do not hesitate to use this lens professionally at anytime a 35mm is called for. Sharp from the center at wide open by ƒ/4 to the edges. Work flawlessly with my Nikon D750. Focusing slower that the Nikon 50mm G but then that does not really matter on a 35mm and there is so much depth of field anyway. I use the Nikon AF 35mm 1.8 G corrections in Lightroom and the images clean up nicely. Lightroom has no settings for Yongnuo lenses. Good buy.
Good value, sharp lens
