46mm MCUV Filter ultra-thin Trapezoid Patterned Frame Coating with a Vacuum Cleaning Cloth Nano-Klear
SKU: KF01.K46V2
This appears to be a very well made product. It screws in very easily and its own external thread works just as well with other filters or lens hoods. It's also very slim, barely adding to the camera's length. Nicely packaged, including a microfiber cleaning cloth.

Received on time - well packaged - appears to be good quality for a very reasonable price. I am satisfied with the product and will buy the same brand in the future.

Is that a BW Kaseman? No, but for the same price you can equip three lenses and get the same results! I don't see any ghosting or glare in my photos, and I can just use a lightbulb to blow away any dirt or dust I see on the surface. Regarding color: No, I don't see any changes in color values when using this particular filter. I have no hesitation in recommending this line of filter products to anyone.

When my husband and I go on day trips, I often write about them and (after posting this to Facebook) sometimes submit the stories to publications. So my husband's photos are very important. My husband takes his photos with a Canon SL2 DSLR. He uses a couple of lenses. When he got my camera we didn't have much money left and bought the cheapest lens cover that had good reviews. It's been a while and he has a second lens now, this is a telephoto lens and he wanted something better. This K&F filter works great. It has a UV coating similar to my prescription glasses. So you have a faint green tinge when you look at the light reflection off the glass surface. It easily attaches to its Canon lens. The lens cap works. I don't really see a huge difference in photo quality. It only costs $10 which is very affordable and protects the lens well.

Yes, this filter blocks UV rays, but most importantly, it protects my lens. For the price, the quality and finish are pretty good. I own other K&F filters that are much more expensive and have had great results with them. Let's be honest, we buy UV filters mainly to protect our investment in our lenses and for me this filter service is there for exactly that purpose. As with other K&F filters, a microfiber cloth was included in the scope of delivery. That's a good deal for the money.

This works well for its price. If this is your first filter I would say you are better off buying one with better light transmission. It's better to pay once more than regret it, if that's even possible. And you don't have to spend hundreds on a better UV filter. If that doesn't matter or if it's a backup filter, I can recommend it. This will be a backup filter for me, so I'll use it sparingly and didn't need a premium filter in this case.

The item received met my basic expectations. The glass filter (not plastic) is coated on both sides to prevent reflections, which is reflected in the green reflections. The filter frame has been finely and precisely machined with CNC machines; it was easy to screw onto a lens. When I examine this K&F filter side-by-side with a much more expensive Hoya Fusion UV filter, which I also use, I actually notice some differences. In particular, the green-tinted reflections of this K&F filter are more noticeable than the fainter reflections of the Japanese-made Hoya filter (which claims 99.8% transmission). That's to be expected from the much more expensive Hoya, and that's why I use it for a telephoto lens that I use outdoors a lot. However, I don't need the Hoya for every lens I own. I find this K&F filter to be pretty good enough for my less frequently used lenses and for most situations. (And if the situation is particularly prone to ghosting, for example, I know enough to simply remove the filter in that particular situation.) (I also liked that the cleaning cloth that came with it came in a factory-sealed package, just like wet glasses wipes (It gives me a little more confidence that the cleaning cloth hasn't been contaminated with tiny sand that could cause scratches. Personally, I don't use this type of cleaning cloth carelessly for filters and lenses, but it's a nice touch.) MAG: - Reasonable price - Precision CNC machined filter frame - Anti-reflective coatings on filter surfaces, good enough for most normal situations. I like the balance between good enough quality and reasonable price that I find in this K&F Concept UV filter. It is mainly used to protect the lens from sand and dust. That's why I give this filter 5 stars. (Some filters on are now more expensive than a branded camera*lens* they're used on. That's not a reflection of quality, it's 99% of the marketing. Crazy.)
