POSITIVE The K&F Concept K-Series 55MM MCUV Pro UV Filter offers excellent lens protection. It is made from high quality optical glass and features a multi-layer coating to reduce reflections and maximize light transmission. The processing of the filter is solid and of high quality. The filter is very compact and lightweight and easily threads onto my lens without adding weight or causing vignetting. It was also easy to unscrew. One advantage of the UV filter is its effect in minimizing UV rays. The filter absorbs ultraviolet rays, reducing the bluish cast that can often occur when shooting outdoors. This greatly improves the clarity and color reproduction of the photos. In addition, the filter also serves as a protective layer for the lens. It helps keep away dust, scratches and fingerprints, thereby maintaining the longevity and performance of the lens. The image quality with the K&F Concept UV filter is excellent. The filter does not affect the sharpness or contrast of the recordings and delivers clear and sharp images. At least I couldn't notice any negative difference in the test photos. NEGATIVE Nothing. ⭐️ Conclusion: I am satisfied with the UV filter from K&F Concept. It offers excellent protection for my lens and does not negatively affect the image quality, but reduces unwanted reflections and blue cast. I can recommend it and get full marks from me.

Whether you need a UV filter or not is up to you, but it offers a number of advantages. The most important thing for me is the protection of the lens, unfortunately there is already a scratch on my lens. The filter arrives well packaged in a plastic case with cardboard packaging. You also get a soft cleaning cloth. I already have a UV filter, but it doesn't have a thread for the lens hood, so I didn't use it. The filter from K&F Concept has 2 threads, one side to screw onto the lens, the other side to put on the geli, which I personally like very much, because I always have the geli on, also to protect against bumps or the like. The thread to the lens is a bit stiff and I had to fiddle a bit to unscrew it. Once you have it on, it sits firmly on the lens. The Geli is much easier to screw on and is also very tight. The glass of the filter is clear and without scratches, overall it is very well made. I have the filter in 58 mm on my M.Zuiko 40-150 mm R. So far I have not noticed any loss of quality in the pictures. 4* from me because of the somewhat stiff thread, otherwise you get good protection for your lens here for just under 10 €, which can be replaced easily and cheaply after damage. A lens repair is significantly more expensive.
Good - thread snags a little

The use of such a UV filter in front of a lens for mirrorless system cameras or DSLR cameras offers several advantages: 1. Protection of the front lens: A UV filter serves as an additional protective layer for the front lens of the lens. It can help keep scratches, dirt, dust and fingerprints away from the actual lens. This protects the lens from damage, which is particularly advantageous in environments with adverse conditions such as sand, dust or splashing water. 2. Reduction of UV light: Although modern lenses already have a built-in UV coating, a UV filter can provide additional protection by blocking ultraviolet light. UV light can cause blurring, haze and loss of contrast in images. By absorbing the UV light, the UV filter can help achieve clearer and higher-contrast image quality. 3. Easier to clean: A UV filter is easy to clean and replace. In the event of contamination or damage to the filter, there is no need to clean or replace the entire lens. That saves time and money. 4. Reduced risk of lens breakage: In the event of an accident or fall, a UV filter can absorb the impact, reducing the risk of damaging the objective lens. It's easier and cheaper to replace a broken filter than a damaged lens. However, using a UV filter can also have potential disadvantages. An inferior or poorly designed filter can degrade image quality by causing unwanted reflections, ghosting, or vignetting. Therefore, it is advisable to choose high quality UV filters from reputable manufacturers to maintain the best possible image quality. The K&F Concept filter from the K series is very inexpensive, but so far I have not noticed any impairments in image quality. I use it with a 49mm diameter on the Pentax Limited HD Macro lens with a 35mm focal length, which itself has multi-coated lenses, and I was curious to see whether the coating of the very inexpensive filter and the HD coating of the Pentax Limited “get along” with each other this seems to be a good marriage. The protection of the front lens is also very important to me, because with this macro lens in particular you sometimes get to the subject itself with the lens, which is not good if it is very hard. Ultimately, the use of a UV filter in front of a lens depends on personal preferences, requirements and shooting conditions anyway. Some photographers prefer to always use a UV filter to protect their lenses, while others choose not to in certain situations in order to achieve the best possible image quality. I myself am more of a mixture of these two types, because if I think it fits better without a filter, I simply unscrew it, which is also not a problem with the K&F Concept filter, because the thread is milled to fit and precisely, so that it can be screwed on and off very easily. The built-in stray light filter and the dust protection cap of the Limited can also be used without any problems. So far I can recommend the filter unreservedly. If I see anything negative, I'll update the review.

ordered the K&F Concept K-Series 72MM MCUV Pro UV filter Slim MC for my 72mm lens. The K&F UV filter can be qualified as successful in terms of production. The filter is cleanly worked without scratches in the glass etc. The thread is cleanly manufactured and can therefore be screwed cleanly onto the lens. A sturdy box is supplied with the filter for storage and transport. The obligatory microfiber cloth is also included in the scope of delivery. But what does a UV filter actually do? Well, in this case it does exactly what the name says, it filters the UV rays out of the light. This used to be extremely important in analog photography. With today's cameras, at least with the higher-priced ones, the electronics can filter this out as far as possible. Thus, such filters are mainly used to protect the lens.

The UV protection filter was safely packed in a cardboard box and then in a plastic box. A separate cleaning cloth was included in the scope of delivery. This was also used immediately for the assembly of the filter. The filter itself makes a really good impression. The processing is excellent. I could not find any manufacturing or material defects. Everything looks very high quality and the weight is absolutely negligible. When assembling, you should work as dust-free as possible. It is advisable to use a brush and, if necessary, compressed air in addition to the cleaning cloth before or during assembly to keep the lens really clean before the UV filter is screwed on. Screwing it onto the lens is very easy to do. The thread grips well and everything runs really cleanly until it is finally screwed on by hand. Then the lens is ready for use. The filter affects the quality of the images in a positive way. It also provides extra protection for the actual lens. The lens cap can also be easily attached again, as can the lens hood. This is exactly how you imagine a quality processed filter. I am satisfied and can really recommend the product. Overall, the filter has earned 5 stars. The price-performance ratio is currently 13.99 euros for the 82mm filter (as of 05/2023) absolutely fine, there are filters from other manufacturers that like to cost twice as much with comparable performance. Thank you for reading my review, I hope it was helpful to someone.

The UV filter is a good solution to get more color and more details out of normal photos where the sun is already shining a little. I tested the filter on a Canon EOS 250D with a Tamron AF 18-400 lens. And shot the comparison pictures. In the image with the filter, the colors are richer and the clouds are easier to see. The filter also offers good protection on the lens when you're on the go and don't always want to put the cover on it. If you hold the filter up to the light you can see the coating, which was not the case with my previous filter. The filter can be easily screwed onto the lens and removed again. In the supplied packaging you can also transport the filter very well, but it will throw something around in there because there is no precisely fitting hole for the filter.

was recommended K&F a long time ago and therefore took the opportunity to test this UV filter with a diameter of 77mm on a Nikkor 24-70 f/2.8G. The filter comes in high-quality packaging and with a microfiber cloth, with which the article was able to collect its first points. The filter itself was well protected in a plastic case padded with foam, which can also be used for further transport or storage. The metal ring is structured in two places, which is supposed to make it easier to turn on and off. It should be noted that the filter is about 3.5mm thick when screwed on. Even if I could not detect any impairments with my lens, there could be edges here with wider-angle lenses. Overall, I couldn't see any impairments in the first photos. Unfortunately, the weather is currently not so good for taking photos with backlighting or light coming from across. Based on my experience so far, I can recommend the filter, for about 13 euros for 77mm you can't go wrong.

The K&F Concept K-Series 55MM MCUV Pro UV filter arrived quickly. It is securely packed in a small box. A cleaning cloth is also included. The filter can be easily screwed onto my lens. Both the sunlight hood and the lens cap also fit on it. The need for a UV filter is debatable. It definitely protects my lens when I'm out and about with the camera in my hand and accidentally bump into something. I couldn't find anything negative in the photos either. So I'm more than satisfied.
